Has Jaksch had his papers stamped? In the best last week and has been better in the Magoos that Gorringe.

Happy for Gorringe to get a run, we can't die wondering but I'd like to see Jaksch play in a side that will give him a chance to kick goals...

Weitering back in (if he plays) certainly lessens any tall player problems caused by losing Kreuzer and Casboult. Weitering was brilliant before the team clicked, it'll be very interesting to see how well he goes now.

He was in against Freo, he was brilliant and so was Charile...

Dont underestimate how good Harry Mckay will be and Cunningham will grow into a beaut.

We have a lot of blue chip talent to inject into this side and 2 first round draft picks to come... Hopefully Geelong lose a few games and drop down the ladder for us.

We no longer have Geelongs 2016 first round pick, we traded that for the upgrade which netted us Charlie or Harry IIRC

We don't have Geelong's pick anymore.

SOS spoke about KJ at the start of the season, it wasnt a glowing description you can tell they dont trust him, I a suspect GWS evened the score a little by giving us Plow, Sumner, Lamb and Phillips for 28 as they know we got shafted by giving them pick 7 for KJ.

SOS made it right.

They did us a favour not taking pick 8 (Harry) for Tomlinson, Mckay has a ton more upside and now we can really look at Patton and we have the compensation to do it. SOS has the relationship with GWS if he leaves we will be in the box seat.

Patton, Casbout, Mckay, Curnow the future is bright.

Good move.

My guess is if Weitering doesn't pass the fitness test tomorrow Wood will come in and Rowe will go to defence.

I reckon that is definitely on the cards.

KJ not even in the squad. He must be in the dog house for some reason. It's not like we're a club spoilt for KP talent in the 21-25 age bracket or that his VFL form has been terrible.

He'll be the main man in the NB's forward line, so if he thinks he's been hard done by, the best way is to demand the footy for the better part of four quarters on Sunday.

Good luck getting a kick in Northern's forward line at the moment.....

Rogers still needs to be shot for that trade for KJ, Boek and Whiley.

Other potential late changes to watch for - Graham for Cripps, Boekhorst for Byrne?

That's my point. He's been in okay form (and Gorringe hasn't). This year is not all about winning. We still have to find out about our list.

Hard for KJ to develop freezing his arse in a forwardline the ball is not kicked into.

I really want Jaksch to get a call up. I still think he can justify the trade. He is not a ruckman or relieving ruckman though, which makes it hard to bring him in as a direct replacement for our injured ruckman or relieving ruckman.
He could've come in for Jamison and played in defense, but I've been hoping Jaksch would get settled in one position for a while now, so I'm not sure I would've liked him being thrust into a defensive role in the AFL after predominantly playing forward in the VFL.

Should be a quick unit this week, and the midfield is getting a huge boost with Wilson, Jones and Whiley back.

As has been mentioned, as honest as they have been, jones and Rowe and an unfit 1aw make for a struggling forward line. What makes it at all possible is the sheer effort and teamwork over past few weeks. Think we will do okay around the ground but get killed in the F50 comparisons... Will be ecstatic if wrong!

Jones is probably keeping KJ out of the side at the moment.
