Straightened us up significantly the first few years then ran out of ideas and energy. The next appointment is huge. We have to get the smartest business mind possible. If McKay ends up in the role we may as well all give up.

That's two off field leaders gone, admin and board, only one left. MM moves into bitter retirement on 1/9/15 and we may yet move into the third millenium

Saw him downstairs at work yesterday.

Was going to ask him when he'd be on board.

Aren't we just gonna get the current Collingwood guy?

That's what we usually do!

Western Sydney wanderers CEO in line for the job. Waiting list for membership. Started club from scratch. Given we suck at fan engagement he could be a good candidate. 2nd biggest revenue in the a league after only 2 years existence. List goes on.

And Simon Garlick, the relatively youthful Western Bulldogs chief executive, has also been mooted as a candidate for the Carlton position, as has the former Australian Olympic chef de mission Nick Green.

Isn't Nick Green a Carlton supporter? In this context that might be the next best thing to a 95 premiership player.

This is a cheap shot, so please forgive me...

Maybe we should target Stuart Fox, at least he knows Brett Ratten is not senior coach material.

Hrmmm not sure he's the right candidate....he was at the Mariners beforehand and nearly ran them into the ground.

Regardless of who we get for CEO I would like to see the red carpet rolled out for Stephen Silvagni very soon and a genuine attempt be made to invite/lure him back home in some capacity as part of this reshuffling and consolidation.

Interesting that we approached the GC CEO a while ago and he said no. We've been onto this for a while it seems.

Nah we're not good enough to do that anymore. We have to wait until they're shown the door.
