I truely bewlieved we could win,and we did.I expect us to follow that against the Swans.Good side the Swans, but thats all, just good, not great. As a matter of fact,i reckon we are a more talented side and will win.

The roar when Juddy nailed that one at the end.....tissues were needed, let's put it that way.

What makes the win all the sweeter was the excremental coverage during the week (that made it look like a Richmond tickertape parade), and all this bullshit (from people like Whately) about how we don't deserve to be there and all that crap. We didn't use drugs, ergo, we deserve to be there. I look forward to hearing the same shit next time an Olympic athlete gets a medal because the bloke ahead of them got busted later on. You can all go EAD you @#$%&! disrespectful pieces of shit.

Shitmond certainly missed the umpires drive in the second half.

Did not doubt it for a minute.

Very confident at half time.

How about that?!!!

and I reckon we had about 10 players down on form......great team effort

We did it from Ninth against Ninthmond

Any word on how severe Conca's hamstring was?

Given the sudden death nature of the game, how quickly they subbed him out, and how quickly they died in the ass after half time fitness-wise, perhaps a crucial error? Could he have played out the quarter and given them an extra rotation or two, and Tuck a little bit fresher? Maybe even take a player out with him?

In contrast, we weren't as quick subbing Robbo or Kreuzer who went on to play crucial parts in the win..

Really?
Give us something tangible. What exactly is the gamestyle we're playing which is advantaging us over previous years. Do you have anything specific or is it just "the vibe"? What "culture" has Mick instilled that won us the game today?

No. I'm tipping you've got nothing. The way I see it is the players won us the game. as much as you want to put it all on Mick to justify your bagging of the list.
Did Mick run back with the flight of the ball instead of Hendo?
did mick stand under the high ball and get smashed instead of Simmo? Did Mick smash in like a kamikaze instead of Robbo? did mick kick 4 straight?
Did Mick light the game up in the 3rd quarter instead of Judd?

No. The players showed they have heart and character. trying to take that away from the and somehow make it all about Malthouse is pathetic. Its an attempt at justification for the lemon suckers who have been running the players down all year.
As Keating said, this was one for the true believers.

Mick did a great job. I wouldn't have done anything different. Touch of Foreman v Ali . We wore their punches and then when it opened up ran over them.
More run than I expected.

Too good on the day.

Great results all weekend...................'cept for the Hockey & Abbott win.

Just got home.

Said the same thing to Teddy Jnr. Classic rope a dope. Soaked up their punches in the first half and came out running in the second half and the Tiges couldn't keep up.

Is this a new game plan by MM? The Blues have done it a few times this season with great effect. If so, the man has invented a new game plan yet again.

If it is, it's fraught with danger.

BUT IT'S VERY EXCITING!

It's @#$%&! horrible to sit through

I think we can forgive Warnock for not taking marks around the ground...never has, never will. His ruck work is AGrade though.

Doc Larkins said it was upper third, which is worst case.

Putting us later and later in the draft though.

The players you've been kicking all season showed once again they have heart and character.
No amount of talking shit or deflection can change that. when Malthouse goes out and wins a hard ball or gets a kick, get back to me.

Interesting. When did I ever say they didn't have heart & character?

Actually I have been quite positive about their work rates and efforts. .

Sorry to disappoint

Good win but Richmond have only beaten Freo this year( the one win against a good team). Played the Bullies and Saints twice Essendon*** when they were [REDACTED].

Put the win in perspective.
Their top players are great although I reckon Riewoldt is overrated big time
After that they have some average players

Great comeback but Richmond's ladder position flattered them
Another example of why the draw and playing only 5 teams twice is such a stupid concept.

Beating them in round 21 was a huge plus. The players had belief they could do it again.

Call me a fun sucker but if you put the win in perspective it was a good win, just a good win. It just happened to be a final.

Shows the lack of success we have had has distorted people's brains a bit.

Given that if we win next week I will be over the moon and join the optimistic club.

Fun sucker.

He forgot that they belted Hawthorn too

What a miserable existance.

The way he ignores hundreds of intelligent texts and tweets, just so he can waste valuable air-time attacking dumb shits, is the deepest of depths even for SEN.

Nothing against Cas but (not the picture guy that Synbad hates, the other guy, the forward) I was so happy when he was out of the side.

I am happy.I hate Richmond and all you strategy enthusiasts can pull your dicks over moves or whatevers for as long as you like, but a win over a hated opponent - that's football !!!!!!!!!!
