Not sure how much stock you can put in these things (hopefully - and logically - none) but Richmond's overall record in finals is a good one.

They have not bowed out of a finals series without a win since 1947 - actually that's only twelve finals series (5 premierships) but still that is second longest such streak on record (Hawthorn I think managed 16 or 17 finals series in a row with a least one win from 57 to 89).


I know it is illogical to be worried about such a useless Bruce stat but I used to smirk at old Melbourne supporters when they said they had a good finals record - then they beat us in 1988, 1994 & 2000 - as underdogs each time.
