Look at guys such as Shaun McKernan, Jeremy Cameron, Mitch Brown, Chris Dawes, Mitch Brown, Josh Walker, Lucas Cook, Cam Pederson, Jackson Trengrove, Jesse White, Scott Lycett.

All big strong genuine talls that will come a lot cheaper if we can get them. We really need only ONE maybe TWO at the most. Is there a Josh Jenkins around?

A couple of years back I thought Jesse White had the potential to become a superstar, what's happened there? Injuries? Unhappy at the Swannies? Still only 24.

Dawes is an interesting proposition, at his best a game changer. Seems to be a confidence player, doesn't appear to be enjoying his football. Uncomfortable with the Pies bogan image considering his background? Sick of Eddie and his "boy from Broadie" stories?

A fresh start could be just what he needs, worth the risk at the right price. Also 24yo.

Yep, I'd go for a number of those guys before Travis but there's just the minor inconvenience that you'd have to give up a couple of first round draft picks for most of them.

Pay him $500K and get the list to sacrifice $400K on a pro rata basis. Judd gets 10% of the payroll, Judd pays 40K and so on down the list.

If the players don't want to do that then trade them.

Done deal!

Think if we want one of these players we have to give up a top 12 (?) pick.

Is Dawes (insert choice here) for $400,000 & first pick better than Cloke + keep first pick for $1,000,000

We've got rid of Ratts, Synbad's happy. I wasn't Ratts biggest fan but it's a simplistic attitude if a it's 'a change of coach will make all (or enough of) the difference'.
