Regardless of who is missing. The forward entries (when they were happening) are just lobs in the air, the kicking is pitiful and the defensive efforts after a turnover are non-existent. Efforts like this just puts pressure on the club. Lets face it the Lions are a bottom 8 side this year.

Regardless of it being pre-season, we have been awful. No excuse for how poor we are. Its a dangerous game if we think the players will simply turn it on in round 1. No the sky is not falling but the effort is terrible. If nothing else, I want to see kids/new blokes showing something. I'm not.

In the past we haven't been good enough to simply switch on and off. We shouldn't just assume we are one of the better teams in the comp. Special mention should go to the skills which have been deplorable and the habit we have developed in pre-season of going along the boundary line only to turn it over and allow the opposition to waltz through the middle unhindered. That is an ugly sign.

If anyone is up there, can they go puta coconut creme pie n that commentators face?
