When it's not being a rather tasty chocolate bar, Mars of course is the Roman God of War.

I really don't see how we can't win the next three premierships with this sponsorship. What other club has an ancient, arse-kicking GOD on their side?

Excellent point MrM...can't fail.

Now I have an excuse to dig out that old recipe for the kick-arse Mars Bar Slice. Yumm!

Impressive work by the club. Time to give credit where it is due. Now bring on the footy!

Great news for the club. Excellent work all round, well done and thank you to all involved.

Most impressed with Juddy if his role was as pivotal as has been reported.

Thanks also to those that gave us a heads up last week, always much appreciated.

Is there still going to be a presser today?

It's already been. It was at 11am. There'll be some grabs on the telly tonight I assume.

Don't know the dollars involved but sounds like a sweet deal to me

Swann described it as "multi-million dollar" ... So maybe somewhere around $1M-1.5M per year???

OMFG, the HS are bloody rediculous !!!!!!!!!!!!! Have yopu seen the way the write up for the new sponsorship deal is portrayed in the HSnow ???

From their website main page the headline is "Blues' deal not hurt by booze cruise " (how many bloody times have they used "booze cruise" is a CFC story now ??? And the article reads to say that, despite the CFC players being drunken idiots the deal has been done. There are however clauses in the contract and the players are on notice on how to behave.

I have just tried to pull up the story again and it has been withdrawn and replaced with the original story.

The HS are pathetic !!!!!!!!

OK the full updated version of the Carlton sponsorship/booze cruise article is up again ............... It's just a heap of crap about player behaviour and how lucky we are to still have the sponsorship, nothing about the sponsorship itself.

The HS couldn't bare write a positive article about it so they have thrown in the usual crap against the club

Everyone should link onto the article on the Carlton website - the more hits they get the better figures it gives to Mars.

http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsar ... fault.aspx

Interesting to see the fact sheet- it is the number 1 ranked chocolate bar in Australia.
