Will Mark H or anyone else from the board come on and tell us if a proper or any investigation has been conducted into this now infamous cruise on the Yarra?

I for one would like to know why only the 3 who were publically caught out were punished. Mind you, it is all going to die away really quick now that the tennis is coming up.

Otherwise what's happening at training? :thanks:

Walker should burn for having bad shoulders, bad disposal and bad decision making in having a child out of wedlock on top of this. :garthp:

Victoria's State Goverment should ask Tiger for the money back.

Footballers should be as moral as our political leaders who wouldn't go from singing songs about uranium to approving uranium mines.

We should expect more from people who can run fast and kick a ball.

I'm just waiting for the next human interest story on A Current Affair and Today Tonight about dodgy journalists who pretend they're interested in the truth, not a sensationalist story. They could have a hidden camera watching their mates make stuff up, before taking it to another journalist for verification that it's a bare faced lie to sell papers. The AFL will only withdraw a journo's accreditation if they have a factual story about footballers taking recreational drugs.

Robinson killed Big Foot!

Truth is out of style...

Sorry for being lazy -but in this thread did we establish who organised the Cruise?
The club seem IIRC were suggesting it was "unofficial", does that mean a player booked the S.S. Chunder or some other person?
I would hope a rule about all (even informal) team gatherings be reviewed by a player welfare officer or the like and the usual tricks of how much booze to supply, what entertainment to provide, and how do we get these valuable club assets home are addressed.

I would like to think that the large sum of $$$$ we're paying Leading Teams would curtail the need to implement such policies.

One has to wonder about the effectiveness of Darren Harris' department in terms of player development.

It was initially reported that Houlihan organised the cruise....which probably means that he didn't organise it.

Ok I found a punishment worse than suspension today.

I say line up all the players with a tea spoon of wasabi paste that they have to devour within a minute. If they're anything like me they'll think it's avocado and try to take it all in one hit :donk: :banghead:

You're normally better than that.

Harris was hired to communicate things like ball-drop technique and running gait. You know, turn the science into regular football speak. The day we have to hire someone to remind blokes that running through the city streets in your jocks is not great for publicity, will be the day that Netball takes over the sponsorship dollars.

Teaguey I see your point but when you loose a major sponsor and get plastered across the daily's front and back, the off-season is really like it once was.
In my experience forty 18-28 year old (even sober) boys are basically children.

should have traded him 3 years ago.

..don't think he should be traded, the shoulder probs weren't his fault, and a couple of silly driving infringements isn't too much trouble.. ..as for this latest thing goin' to help out Hoops, it's ramped up a bit to hammer home the club message more than actually being equivilant to any misdemeanour..
