maybe its the fev factor who knows but it is pretty concerning we have only had 350 members in 2 weeks
also 3 game m/ship was not available last year and it is included in m/ship figures this year .I think it is worse than what we all think anyone rfrom the club care to explain=Cazzesman

Given Cazz's role within the club, I'm not sure how much he can add to the membership discussion.

People haven't renewed for whatever reason. It's their choice.

Membership shouldn't be about the number of members but rather how much revenue comes thru as a result of the memberships.

I'm only guessing but maybe the previous two years were slightly inflated due to the fat that Mr Pratt and his friends most likely bought muliple memberships

Spoken to a few pessimistic Carlton fans since last night. Gotta laugh at all the people coming out and supporting us now. These are the people that said at the time of Fevola's trade that we'd be no good, it would put us ages back, we'd be lucky to be 1-8 after 9 rounds, and they wouldn't be buying a membership. Absolutely laughable.

Wouldn't surprise me if membership went to about 40,000 now.

We have too many bandwagon supporters...supporting the club by buying a membership should not in any way be related to your personal opinions about how the club is going or disapproval re decisions the club has made. If you truly follow Carlton you must automatically buy a membership every year before the season starts mind you...end of story! No ifs no buts...no bullshit excuses like I can't afford it...utter crap! Have one less pack of smokes a week or one less pot and support your club financially...to those who have not renewed....do it now!!!

Should I stop paying my mortgage? Paying my car repayments? Bills that keep my family civilized? Put food on the table? Buy presents for birthdays?

Some people have higher priorities in life, hence why the renewal cut off is June 30th!!

Most membership packages amount to on average $30 to $40 dollars a month...which equates to $10 and less a week..less than the cost of a pack of smokes...enough said..

I agree, 98% of people can afford a club membership. If footy is not a priority, fine. But if you call yourself a supporter and are passionate, absolutely no reason to not be a member.

Ive been since 1990.
