Lloydy needed the run.
And Fevs kicked 5 whilst Lloydie only 2 .. hope that's a sign of wooden things to come to Windy Hill! (and also a sign of our future full-time full-back, eh Carlos?)

Fevs in absolute prime nick, where as LLoyd is still alittle rusty i guess missing some footy. He probably underestimated Carlos too

I think i saw panick in LLoyd's eyes as Fevs stamped his authority as the dominant FF of the comp again last night.
He know's last year wasn't a flash in the pan and that he has his work cut out for him if he ever wants another coleman medal. 8)

Fletcher is a dirty little filth. I know its a few years ago now, but I played against him during my school football days in year 12 (when he was playing for Essondon grammer). I'm only barely 5'7" (playing on scott west that day) and young dustin gave me a nice upper cut in a pack as I was picking up the pill. Left a nice scar on my face. Then he ran away when my ruckman came after him seeking revenge. I still loath him till this day! ; ) Was he playing on Fev last night? - haven't seen the game yet. I hope so, cause I love hearing about him getting slaughtered.

ummm, im not sure if this has been mentioned, or if it even happened, but i think during 10's coverage of last nights game during the 3rd 1/4, i believe, we got a quick shot of talkingcarlton and the sexysquad members in the stands....it was the classic "angry reaction shot when a decsion hasnt gone our way"....can anyone confirm?

Lucky B.
I have to wait about 4 weeks until the DVD that my mate, Paul, in Hobart sends me arrives. Oops, did I say that?

That's pretty close to a night game in tassie isn't it? Apparently they turn the generators off at 8pm every night.

I haven't seen the match yet (was working last night) but from what i'm gathering from media (HUN & SEN) is that we shouldn't be getting our hopes up due to Essendons depleated list.

Well i gotta say this........................

Essendon* were, and still are, refering to two people in particular who will help lift them from the slumps. They are constantly refering to these two players 'Keys' when discussing just HOW they will stage their 'fightback' and wh
One of them is Mal Michael to add more to defense & the other is Llyod who is worth 80+ goals a season!

Both of them played last night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO *&%$ YOU!

f$#% the papers!

whitnall, lappin & kouta didn't do stacks and we still did alright.

the best thing about last night was our defence.... looked more stable.

and Essendon* have NO SKILL!...... talk about a team who flower around with it on half-back!

Houlihan let them into the game, otherwise it would of been an easy 3-4 goal win.

Considering it was the first round of the NAB Cup, I thought the standard of the game was good. Our disposal in the first half was excellent, and the pressure from both sides in the second was high.

What astounds me is how Marc Murphy wasn't considered B.O.G, as his passing was sublime. He had fifteen possessions, and all but one was spot on and cronstructive, especially his forty metre pass to Fevola in the last quarter under severe pressure.

Bryce Gibbs is going top excel for us, as his football instincts are extraordinary. His use of his body and sense of how the play is going to unfold is uncanny.

Next week will be more difficult, but it was great to beat Essendon* after all their drivel about making the finals in 2007.
