Ticketek says it is fully ticketed, public and AFL reserve sold out and no further tickets released.

I feel like standing room is sometimes released late in the week leading up, but perhaps this has already sold out too.

When you go through the injuries this year, where we have come from and learning a whole new system with a new coach we have had a very good year. There is now a very good base to build on. I expect top 4 next year regardless of what happens this week

I'd be going
Outs: Newnes, Obrien and Dow
Ins : Williams, Cerra and Hayes

Newnes would be my sub.

I reckon we played our elimination final against the Demons, it was a huge effort by the boys and I’m so very proud of the team, , the game would have completely sapped the team.
Got my fingers crossed, hope I’m wrong and we can get up and there’ are such big stakes for both teams , this game will be dure and frenetic from the Ist bounce.
Go Blues

or,

the penny finally dropped as to what's required to win a game, let alone against the best, and they got back on their bike and applied relentless pressure for 4 quarters.

The pain of the unlikely loss will drive them, not sap them. Its a last gasp, do or die Elimination Final. Its exactly that.

Harry & Charlie....this game is exactly why we pay you the big bucks.

Cerra, Gov, Martin, Williams...you too.

I expect Top 4 this year.

We got our mojo back against Dees.

Charlie to turn things around and kick 5.1. He;s due, and it doesn't get any bigger than this H & A game.

Dow didn’t play, but if you mean out of the 23 then keeping Newnes as sub means he doesn’t go out.

Hayes wasn’t very impressive in the vfl, just an average game. I also wouldn’t gamble on Williams given he’s so fragile and has been out so long, we’re not that desperate. Give Williams a run in the vfl and if he pulls up ok then bring him in for finals. Also helps our vfl team into the finals.

Hopefully he is "Tremi-tised" by the end of the game, and "Hesi's his pants throughout the game.

My pies neighbour reckons our list is much better than theirs, but maybe he’s setting me up for a Sunday roast.

I agree. They have more young talent coming through that we will hopefully fix at years end

No one has had a bad an injury run as us

West Coast might disagree but ours has been shit. 10-15 unavailable most weeks and so many 6-8 weekers.

What we'd have given for a Darcy Moore 1 week miracle hamstring...

Early on yes but they collapsed. We kept improving. I think there are more issues at WC

WCE missed a lot of games due to Covid protocols earlier in the season.

We only missed 2 games form Covid protocols, the rest have been injury and 2 retired (Jones Williamson)

Carlton defender Zac Williams will be given every chance to prove his fitness this week and play in Sunday’s massive must-win clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

The Blues must win to play finals, with coach Michael Voss labelling the showdown with the Magpies coach as an “elimination final.”

The stakes are equally high for Collingwood, with the Magpies fighting for a prized top four spot and the double chance in September.

Williams (calf) has not played since mid-May, but the club has had him tracking for round 23 return on its injury report for about a month now.

He has been training with the group for awhile now, and was involved in match simulation with his teammates last week.

It will be a decision for match committee if Williams can get through training this week.

A club spokesman told the Herald Sun the Blues were “hopeful” that midfielder Adam Cerra (adductor strain) would be back to try and help the club seal a finals spot.

Cerra, who was a late out in the heartbreaking loss to Melbourne last Saturday night, will be looked at along with Williams during the club’s main session on Wednesday.

Star recruit George Hewett (back) won’t play this Sunday but the club has not ruled out a finals return should the Blues qualify.

Williams has pace and has finals experience I would play him and drop Newnes (who was in defence last week) make Newnes the medisub

Cerra may miss out - our midfield worked well last week. But I would like him in the side - so for me, its Owies who misses. This pushes Fisher to Half forward (still rotate through the middle)

the rest plays as we lined up against the Dees.

Go Blues

This idea has merit.
But you hope they make sure 100%, Cerra and Williams are good to go and to play at the level required, finals paced like last week.
Otherwise, leave them out.
