I would think that he needs a little more time to put on bulk and then turn that into muscle, then get match fit...

I could be (hope I'm) wrong...

Didn't seem to be a problem in the intra club games. He was close to BOG in the last one in front of public.

Looked like the leader we know he is, and was recognised as such by the new leaders, and was attacking with confidence and running really well....sounds like he's primed for the wing IF Williams plays back and Boyd replaces Stocker.

IF.
That's great... Fingers crossed... He just looks so 'slight'.... Maybe I'm reading way too much into it...

As I said, fingers crossed for an early start and ripper season

Go Blues
So happy to be wr. .. wr.... wr.... We'll you know what I mean

Go Blues

Happy to report I finally have been able to access my ticket for this week.
I rang the club this morning and straight away the person could see there was a problem.
I was told to wait 10 minutes and refresh my account.
I rang the club 2 weeks ago about it so not sure why it wasn't picked up then.
I still don't understand why we can't just use a membership card. It would make it a lot easier.

Does anyone know about an app that broadcasts digital radio coverage of the match in real time if you are at the ground?

SEN Stadium is the only one presently that I'm aware of but it's been good when I've tried it.

In the SEN app

I had a bastard of a time screwing around with that thing when I was at Carlton Freo last year. Admittedly I'm rubbish with tech stuff

If you have Alexa app you can play radio eg MMM or ABC. I have not tried at a footy ground.

From the BOM

Looks like light wind and no rain in the evening. Fingers crossed.

Quote:
Thursday 17 March
Summary

Min 19
Max 29
Possible shower.
Possible rainfall: 0 to 3 mm
Chance of any rain: 40%
Melbourne area
Partly cloudy. Medium (50%) chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm.

The important bit

Quote:
Winds north to northeasterly 20 to 30 km/h tending north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day

then becoming light in the evening.

Maybe TDK plays. Fingers crossed.

Tigers reported to play 2 rucks: Nankervis and Soldo.

Getting ready to jump on a plane.

Come on Blues

Richmond expect co-captains Toby Nankervis and Dylan Grimes to play against Carlton on Thursday night, while midfielder Jack Graham is making a late bid for selection.

On a day coach Damien Hardwick labelled his team an “underdog” for the premiership, Grimes, who had thumb surgery only last week, is pushing to play, while Nankervis will line up despite spending the past week in health and safety protocols.

Quote:
“‘Nank’ ... he’s in health and safety protocols, but he’ll be available to play on Thursday, which is a great result. He went in last Wednesday … so you can imagine what his house is like. He’d be running through walls and, hopefully, his house needs a bit of demo work.

“I’m tipping he’ll be fired up when he gets out.

If Nankervis actually had Covid, he may suffer from that on game day, but it sounds to me like he's just isolating following protocol.

Grimes hand will be so numb he wont feel a thing, even if its hit, which I encourage TDK to do with ease from the heights he can reach.

The absolutely best day as a football supporter is to follow Carlton one day before the Richmond game. Of course we all know what the day after is usually like...

Let's hope it's also the best the day after the game this season too. Go Blues!

Think I’d prefer to have my best day on the last Sunday in September.

This is going to be a great test. We played well against the Demons but they really did not bring anywhere near the same level of pressure that will confront us tomorrow night.
The challenge is to be able to execute under that intense, fierce pressure.
The pressure we applied against the Demons was great. We must bring that and more tonight and force them off their game, even just a little.

Hopefully the rain stays away. Wet conditions suit their constant movement game style.

That mentions it's in place at Marvel. Does it work at the G though
