So, subject to fitness, Thomas & Casboult are confirmed ins. No Jamison. Some shocks there...

Pretty safe to say Warnock won't be playing unless we've completely lost our minds.

I know Thomas is confirmed in but surely you wouldn't play both Thomas and Menzel both coming back from injury and not match fit.

You make a fair point, but it depends on the assessments made that saw Menzel play just the three quarters in the VFL in the first place. Might have just been swelling around the injury site rather than any sign of a tear.

Looks like:

Ins - Levi, Thomas, Graham
Outs - Warnock, Hendo, Whiley

Can't imagine we'd have Menz and Thomas back in the same week, can't play two risky players.

For this lot, just the one tagger will do, Whiley needs another good hitout for NB's.

Given our lack of talls, can see Walks, Everitt and Jaksch being tall options either back or fwd.

Hopefully, just hopefully they don't plan of having Casboult at CHF all day and play the two ruckmen. While I like to see how Casboult goes a little further up the ground as I think he does better when he can move about, I don't want he AND two ruckmen either. Don't need to play Warnock.

Whiley would feel a bit hard done by if he's dropped.

I'll wait to final team is announced but I'm hoping Graham, Whiley, Buckley all play.

So Watto's papers have been stamped eh ?

What a disgrace. Why not give the bloke a chance as a permanent fwd for the rest of the year in our rebuild phase ? I reckon he'd actually kick 3-4 per week, but I've got no idea.

Let's just keep playing "no tank" discard Jones. Jones has been given every opportunity and is a failure, whereas Watto has been given limited chances.

Agree. Playing against the Lions kids would be ok for him too. He was very ordinary last week, but we know he's better than that.

And Menzel. If I see Ellard and Curnow in, I'm not going to the game. Warnock's surely played his last senior game?

I'd play Watto too, but Jones was bought in on MM's watch and that stubborn senile excuse we have as a coach will keep playing Lame Jones no matter how lame he plays.

Graham will feel hard done by if he's not in. Only 8 touches for MW last week, he'll find his way back soon enough me thinks.

What are they paying again?

Do Sportsbet still have that refund your losing bet deal if your teams leading at 1/4 time?

Watto has the opportunity to impress every week and force himself into the team, he just cant make an impact at VFL level, they are too good for him. Even when we played the AFL academy team he got destroyed by a 17 year old boy. As much as we dont want to admit it, another first round pick is wasted that is the reality.

Speaking of that 17 yr old kid - favourite to be the number 1 pick.

Lose to Brisbane & he could be ours. Looks a good one.

Unless MM comes up with some new magical formula to kick goals, this line up looks very Scary.......

Will Casboult & Jones kick a Winning Score for us? The answer is very Simple... They would be lucky to even Score...This means that our midfield has to do it....Given that we are playing Brisbane, We can probably get away with a win, even with an 8-10 goals...

With this line up on the park, I just can't see how we are going to manufacture more than 6 Goals all Game!!

Brisbane have a very good chance of rolling us if their midfield gets on top...

I am tipping for a 1-0 Win to the Lions... OR maybe we can steal a 0-0 Draw!!
