It's not about money. Mick is close to the highest paid coach in the league. Our total player payments must be at a minimum of 92% of the salary cap anyway.

You are new around here but for future reference clubs must pay a minimum of 95%.

thanks for that - used to be 92% from memory

I make a formal public apology to TC, and in particular the participants of this thread.

I have also instructed my accountant to make a donation of $95 to the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday appeal.

I am also contacting several moderators in this forum as we speak, in order to arrange a 3 month ban from this site for myself, and any other financial penalties they see fit to impose.

I think we as a collective have learned something very valuable in here today ladies and gentlemen

Why do you need to contact the moderators? Just to do honourable thing and ban yourself for three months and be done with it.
In that time do the necessary research and ensure you don't make stupid mistakes like our board has done over the years.

The Block's next project: Princes Park. Could be a big reno. Stick's office first, followed by Swann's.

I had no doubt Essendon* was going to smash us. It was only blind faith that gave me any hope of an unlikely win.

So to hear Mick state so publicly that he had no idea it was coming is a little concerning. I only hope his private view was a little more realistic.

625k x 4 with stipulations regarding a certain number of games to be played per season.

All depends on who you ask.....

The contract is $2.5M over 4 years = $625k a year

At present it looks like a lot but if somehow he can get back to 100% it is not a bad asking price

..yeah I think this is closer to the mark....

..but then 700 is the new 500.. ..ppl are silly, they just see rising tpp over next few years and shrug their shoulders it's just same same.. ..smart money works to spread the cash, not engage in 'rising prices' to keep status quo..

If that's the case, torch the place down to ashes and start all over again. FFFMMMDDDD
We have become a caricature organisation. We could not possibly be real anymore

Clearly they fancied themselves too much

The way they played it was like they thought just rocking up and letting rip a few stray farts would be enough to get the W

Woof's post just gets back to Synbad's central point that the club is not even honest with itself
