I agree Doc. With an unwieldy board decisions cannot be smoothly made high up at admin level which in turn mean things are not running as they should at the top. How far this filters down I don't know but can't be positive for the playing group.

It actually all starts with a good admin. We used to be the "business" club. Why are we so dysfunctunal?

I can almost start the answer. Everyone knows Sticks is a nice guy, but he is not really the ace in the pack is he?

We need a hard nut businessman. No not John Elliott. Someone like Richard Pratt or George Harris would be great just about now. People at the top who can make decisions. I don't know those (if any) who may have a foot in but I sure hope somebody puts their hand up and soon.

Hooray , it's a Sticks thread now.!!!!!

You sold stock, you're reinvesting ... Sorry to offend you, but what crap. It's a game. It's sport.

Nothing we do or say here has a bearing on CFC ... they will make the decisions they want without checking in here first.

What we do need is a winning mentality. Just as much for the kids as the vets. I want 'em to win every time they take the park. Anything less, you may as well support the demons, huh?

While there's a mathematical hope of them making the 8, to wish anything less -- all on the premise you get changes in admin or coaching or our list is pretty despicable, and you sound pretty bloody spoilt and controlling, imo ...

What will be, will be.

You just want it to be a cimm1979 thread instead but at best your message is very MOR.

That would be the point...we've done all the other stuff to death.

It's just about enjoying the Carl V Lions game now. simple pleasure. that's all.

Doc, with respect, it came across as if you were having a go at BV for wanting us to win, or for any of us to get in to the season any more.

Really? Do we have to apologise for still supporting?

C'mon, it was a patronising post wasn't it?

We have pages of good, bad, and ugly arguing about admin, coaches, trainers etc.

I hope we win.

Losing to Brisbane is like eating burnt toast. Disgusting!

I still remember Brisbane at the peak of their powers humiliating us -- I think it was at princess park? not sure ... they ran up a cricket score on us.

Ever since then I've had a somewhat of a dislike for them.

Its just hard to watch. I now watch looking for improvement in individuals more than the team. Not matter what happens now we wont be a real challenger for the flag and thats what i want.

The best thing for us now is to miss the finals, get players fit and start pre season early. Hopefully this will be supported by some key changes.

I'm not sure, if it were about 'the football' then I might as well venture on down to any old paddock to watch a game between two minor-league teams.

I find it boring and sometimes even frustrating reading when the subject is who to pick from the soon to be delisted or the younger player who is not ready for senior football.

It's better for the club to win (though not at all costs) but for this supporter, this game is more important for what it tells us than it is for the result.

Probably not, probably will, not particularly fussed, see what mood I'm in at 6pm. Hard decision really.
