Think Jamo will be named with the intention of throwing a cat among the pigeons, although I don't think Buddy will be too worried about playing on a bloke who's missed 6 weeks.

We could also feasibly play St Kilda, Fremantle or Norf in first week as well.
Recent years have had:
2010 - 2 v 3 on Fri night, Perth game Saturday, 5 v 8 on Sunday
2009 - 5 v 8 on Fri night, 1 v 4 on Sunday
2008 - 2 v 3 on Fri night, 2 interstate games Sat, 1 v 4 on Sunday
2007 - 2 v 3 on Fri night, 5 v 8 (Etihad), 6 v 7 (G - Collingwood) both on Sat, 1 v 4 on Sunday
2006 - 6 v 7 on Fri night, 1 v 4 (Subi) on Sat night, 5 v 8 on Sunday
I reckon Collingwood vs. West Coast goes on a Sunday, given that they'd draw a decent crowd, but questionable TV ratings, unless Freo finish 6th.
Hawks/Geelong to me seems a no brainer for Saturday night. The other two interchangable depending on who plays who. Essendon*/Carlton seems a Fri night at the G proposition, Saints vs. Sydney at Etihad on Saturday afternoon....again TV ratings. No-one wants to watch those two sides play.
On the other hand - would Essendon* and St Kilda both request their game to be at Etihad? If so, they'd have to play it in the unfashionable spot on a Sat afternoon (or play Hawks/Cats fri night).
From a ground perspective, surely the view would be to have a Fri night match at the G, then have the next game there on Sat night, to avoid any turf issues?
Also - if North make it, do we play them on a Sunday, given they'd play on the Sunday afternoon in Rd 22 anyway?
I reckon if we play the Bummers in 5v8 or the Filth in 1v4 we'll be Friday night, maybe Saturday night.
Anyone else and it'll be Sunday due to Norf playing Sunday in Rd 24 and Sydney or Freo having to travel to Melbourne for the final.
