that sucks.

serves some of you right, the past 2 weeks some of the crap spewing out about how we are going to be a power house and wondering why juddy would want to go collingwood, melbourne and Essendon* when there clubs are more stable then ours.

we are damaged goods, and until i actually see these so called 20 million dollar state of the art facilities, so called biggest sponsorship in afl club history, i would keep my mouth shut from bagging others.

we have been nothing but a disgrace for the past 4 years, and some how arrogance has already crept back in and we have yet to achieve anything.

become arrogant when we start winning, like the power and pies.

as for this 3.1 million dollar profit almost 4 million was in hand outs and donations.

That is the WORST post in TC's history
And you are the WORST poster to ever post on these boards...
Ive been posting since I was a pimply faced 14 year old and I can hoenstly say you're constant big noting, shithouse "scoops" and blatant negativity makes me shake my head.
As Synners has been saying- we are in as good shape off field as we have EVER EVER been. I'll repeat that- as good shape off field as we have EVER EVER been.
The pub deal would've been nice but there are plenty of other things in the pipeline I can assure you..

I first heard 2 weeks ago it was on shaky ground-- I cant emphasise how much work certain board members put into this proposal though- were talking hundreds of hours..
something to do with repayments of some sort- it wouldve been a highly intricate deal but obviously in the middle of the year it was looking very likely.
I guess its a shame but there are plenty more opportunities

Cheers. Maybe something to do with the dramas in the Finance industry?

Yeah that was a pretty poor effort. It's a great shame about the Pub deal but I'm sure Mark and co did their very best to pull it off and that's all you can ask. As you said things are looking up for the club in a variety of different areas on and off field. But I think he was right about one thing, we should be a bit more circumspect about calling other clubs a rabble. While things are improving we aren't out of the woods yet. We've still got the biggest debt in AFL history hanging over our heads, we've still got rubbish facilities and we're still a bottom four side. What we should be confident about is that those problems aren't going to be around for much longer.

Agree 100% with you there Josh. Easily the worst post I have seen by a long, long way.

Melvey, I think it's about time you crawl back into your little cupboard at channel McChins (or are you at the Lexus Centre now? :P ) or wherever you came from. This great club has come a long way over the past year, and to move even further forward next year we need to start by removing the remaining cancerous cysts, before they develop into tumors.

I've got a feeling it may be a little too late for you............

LOL.

Melvey's post is chicken feed. I could smash its ass from high water to kingdom come if I wanted to, and get banned in the process.

Why big note such small fry?

That would be awsome..

Hummers, tough like premiership sides.

They are definetly making their mark in Australia of late...

Hardly. if you look through our posting history you'd rarely find me and Synbad agreeing about anything. I just think blaming someone for something that has absolutely nothing to do with them is pretty poor.

That stretch Hummer passed me on the Westgate the day after the GF - was heading out Geelong way.

Not sure that Chris Judd would be too keen on being sponsored by Hummer just quietly.

how's this for a less than well thought out idea ...... CJ donates his contract back to CFC and claims a tax deduction ...becomes probably the Blue's biggest sponsor apart from DP

what ya reckon ?

Personally, I would be pretty non-plussed if we were sponsored by Hummer. I reckon, they represent everything that's bad about motoring. But anyway...

...you can always find a counter story to support the alternate argument.

Prius outdoes Hummer in Hummer damage

A MINI diesel (although not available in Australia) produces less emissions than a Prius. While the merits of the particulates emitted from a diesel can be debated, the chasm in driving enjoyment between a MINI and Prius is not.
