Well done Plow. Played at the club when it can’t have been easy. Always gave 100%

I believe we have a very clear picture of what we need.
I suspect this is why we’ve shifted from Gresham to E.Hollands.

You’d expect we are anticipating what’s next as our older stars continue getting older. Most of the other dynasty teams managed that very well - and most of them had a bunch of older players when they won their first premiership.

We have a number of tallish midfielders in the team but very few old school rover types.

Could Boyd or C Durdin go into the middle next year?

If we judge Boyd by his Prelim game, (yeah I know only one game) he would be worth a trial in the guts.

Or maybe Motlop - needs to work on his leg speed however. Hopefully Binns can fullfill the promise he showed in the VFL this year.

IIRC the problem with what I've seen of Binns is he is another player that lets himself down with his kicking.
He gets the ball a lot but either just throws the ball on the boot under pressure for the up and under or just bombs it into the F50.
He has a good leg but too much elevation in his kicks, he'll need to get that out of his game to make it into the seniors ahead of the other players already doing this.
Also not sure on his leg speed but he has really good agility, tested #2 in the combine.
Maybe he could be added to the middle if Dow goes, his kicking is similar.

What are the odds of delisting being announced later this afternoon

Hopefully that’ll come after the trade requests.

Otherwise it’s only massive, not MASSIVE.

Talk of Dow maybe moving to Sydney.

He’d certainly help their clearance game which was a problem for them this year.

Not sure what the Swans have but he’s I contracted so we might have to settle for a 2nd rounder. That might be enough to unlock Hollands with a trade involving pick swaps.

Both Dow and Fisher are worth picks in the teens but knowing us, I’ll be ok with early 20’s. We aren’t very good at this.

If we rated them anywhere near that we'd be making an effort to keep them

Based on what? You do this every year. Surely after 20 years or so you would learn.
They are the 29th and 30th rated players on our list when you consider they weren’t in our best 26 come Prelim final and Williams and JSOS would be ahead of them.

“We aren’t very good at this”, yet we secured Blake Acres who in comparison to these 2 was one of Fremantle’s best in a final for a future 3rd rounder.

But like every year you’ll piss and moan and complain just like you did with Jaksch, Graham, Buckley, Stocker etc and continually remind us that we will regret letting these guys go.

No surprises with any of them. Good luck in the future boys. Philp may be an outside rookie chance elsewhere or I wouldn't be shocked to see the Tigers slot him into their VFL program. Glad to see LOB paid out. That was an unusually poor decision by Austin 12 months ago.

Did we pay LOB out, or did he have a trigger for a second year which he didn't meet? He only played 6 games this year.

So don’t read.

These 2 players have been part our team for 5 years, now Voss doesn’t like either and has excluded them.
I have no problem with that, that’s his decision but tha5 doesn’t mean these 2 can’t play.
Stocker and Setterfield did quite well btw.

So again - f%^& off and don’t read my thoughts, if it doesn’t suit your view point.
