Teamboard updated!

First 22:
FB: Tuohy Jamison Sheehan
HB: Yarran Rowe Docherty
CC: Gibbs Murphy Simpson
HF: Walker Henderson Thomas
FF: Buckley Casboult Menzel

RR: Kreuzer Cripps Judd

Int: Boekhorst Everitt Bell Curnow

Second 22:

FB: Fields White Smith
HB: Viojo-Rainbow Jaksch Dick
CC: Russell Carrazzo Armfield
HF: Johnson Watson Byrne
FF: Tutt Jones Foster

RR: Wood Whiley Graham

Int: Walsh Gowers Giles Holman

Harsh on Ellard there but given he's basically a slow small forward, we've recruited a bunch of players intended to either leapfrog his list position or to allow others to move into the small forward rotation. Byrne and Smith could easily swap spots but Smith looks impressive 1v1 and thus the more natural defender of the two. Warnock was the other leftover player.

I would say the second 22 would beat the first for pace in more positions, but the first 22 is more dynamic.

..more a running 22, but it looks a little short/light to me..

Don't mind this set up - might swap Yarran and Everitt - I would prefer Cripps to BB too but with the other interchange players listed (Curnow, Bell, Carrazzo) it may be better to have more speed than a more bulky extractor type. Course I haven't seen BB play at all and it is pure speculation...

Unless Carrots can turn back the clock I would prefer Cripps or even Sheehan to him. Don't really need two stoppers in the side and Everitt can also play the run-with role very well.

..after Judd, crisps is our next best extractor.... ..plenty of players can hack a clearance out of the stoppage, but it's the extractor that sets up play with the clearance.. ..these types of players are gold..

..also, there seems to be a lot of supporters that think BB is ready to go straight away due to his age, but he isn't.. ..ease your expectations folks..

You can chuck him out on a forward flank and he'll do damage Round 1.

He was drafted where he was because we wanted to slot him in straight away.

I would like to see something like this for now:

Tuohy Jamison Jaksch
Walker Rowe Yarran
Judd Carrazzo Simpson
Menzal Henderson Thomas
Buckley Jones Casboult
Kruezer Gibbs Murphy
Docherty Bell Everitt sub: Graham/Cripps

Looks like we might have to move Kruezer into the pocket and Warnock into the ruck.

Certainty looks like Kruezer will nudge out Caz.
We need to give Kruezer plenty of time playing this forward/ruck role.
I have always wanted to see him in this role, so 'bring it on'.

what a waste leaving him in the forward line and having no well rounded ruckman running around the ground for us
he is a competitive beast around the stoppages when the ball stays in his vicinity after the bounce
not only does he tackle, he uses his size to open space and protect his team mates, spreads, accumulates possessions and on top of that he can also win tap outs

if the ruck and midfield coaches and mighty mick actually pull their fingers out of their asses we could have a very competitive (even dominating) midfield with Kreuzer as main ruck

Kreuzer has so much more value around the ground than stuck in the forward line for the majority of the game especially if we have other options to take up the tall forward possies
I just hope all this talk of him being a forward again is just a ruse by mighty silver foxy mick and co

Would be very disappointing if Levi was not given lots of time this year. He took some big steps last year ... and I reckon he is just about ready to dominate.

I would play Kreuz and Levi. Let Kreuz ruck most of the time then swap with Levi for short spells in the forward line.

..fully agree, krooz isn't an impact player.... ..resting deep forward he isn't around the action anywhere near enough.. ....the idea that he is too short is wrong.. ....does it mean we renew knockers contract at the end of the year..?.... ..what becomes of Bolt..?..

Taller than Mumford, so height ain't an issue. Seems ludicrous to move him from the action - it's where he shines.

Spot on. To this point in his career, he has shown little ability to beat a full back....he isn't a natural forward.

Play him to his strengths - which is in the ruck
