Do you actually think Voss wants to lose. He is a winner.

Not saying he is a good coach or anything, but ultimately its on the players to kicks straight, run, chase, tackle and compete.

At this club the coach is always blamed. Im sorry not copping it this time.

Kennedy has the build and the experience to make an impact.

Go and rewatch games this year, and watch him chase players. Like half heartedly. We cant keep on going like this.

Poor Cripps is busting his chops. I will give Walsh a pass due to injuries, but he will need to perform next year.

This Kennedy angst is really unreal to be honest. We are lucky we got a 2nd round for him, but im sure Austin is smart enough to use it fruitfully in some way. He has shown this trade period at least, he knows what he is doing.

Kennedy only has himself to blame for being at a 3rd club.

Yes he is a nice guy, yes he can kick a goal, yes he is durable.

But do you want us to be mid road, or to elevate into something better ??

You must say at least this club has moved with the times this year. It may or may not pay off. But we are trying.

We need some KPPs now as DFA or rookies.

But we have more running options now. Binns, Wilson, The Campos, pick 3 ([providing we pick well), the holland boys can only get better.

AFL is now a running transition game. We cant carry the same slow players. You saw against Hawthorn, they absolutely burned us with run and carry and we couldnt compete.

Enough of poor Kennedy - he will be fine. Owies will be fine in the Perth sunshine.

We did the right thing. Damned if we do and damned if we dont.

And yes a coach must be respected at least publicly. Go and have your disagreements behind closed doors. If Kennedy was smashing it, there is not way Voss would have pulled him. Now cmon.....

If only there was a player available that could've assisted us with this.

I know I know SideFx you got me there. haha. Houston would have helped with transition game. But in my mind having a strong midfield wins more games. And helps the backline. Would rather transition starts from the middle.

We all have different opinions i guess.

And you can find running backs easier than top mids. And i think we already have that covered in Cowan and Wilson somewhat.

We need a strong KPP to help Weitering though for sure. Forwards are getting more bigger and mobile these days.

That's the thing, I 100% agree with a strong midfield and that is our main weakness.
The issue is our centre and wings are slow with poor kicking.
As I just said in the Houston thread, I would've really like to see Ollie on the HB line and Houston on the wing.
Harry and Charlie would be fighting each other to get a lace out pass from him.
Anyway, we missed out.
Pick 3 is what we have to look forward to, hopefully we can do something while Crippa is still playing, he deserves it.

I'm happy enough with the Kennedy trade.
We have lost a fringe/depth player however gained pick #38 and some much needed cap space.

We didn't win anything with Owies and Kennedy on the list.

Agree we’ve lost flexibility and some talent for very little return, whilst S. Durdin & Fantasias remain on the list. Let’s hope there’s a mini clean up yet.

I think next year is the real clean up.

Williams, McGovern - Stay injury prone and out. Or at the very least much lower contracts.
Fantasia, Young, Durdin, Cottrell, Motlop. Few of those to go.
We potentially reduce the contract for Saad.
And Cerra - Who knows. Will he remain injury prone. If so I would move him on. Hope his issues will be fixed though as we need his point of difference.

Potentially Docherty to retire, or we reduce his contract too. Not sure how much he is paid.

And please please Carlton resign TDK. And TDK dont play hard to get mate and be reasonable.

Then Walsh i guess as well.

Essendon* not the clear winners of trade week? I can't believe it.

They've still got it in them to claim their annual national draft premiership

I think one amusing aspect of 2025 will be, Geelong eyeing TDK.
And Carlton eyeing SDK.

Honestly, if that’s the truth, tough @#$%&! tiddies!

Seriously, sick of the tail wagging the dog and our fans judging players based on how nice they are.

I’m also sick of this club being a middle of the rung organisation happy with one semi final win in 25 years.

We need to be ruthless to get to the summit and if this is the first domino to fall to achieve that, then I’m backing the club in.
