If Ed Curnow is playing I want him sling tackling these flowering toothless maggots. Breaking both Daicos would be a great way to end your career!

If they finish the game with no one on the bench and we lose on the scoreboard I’ll consider it a victory.

So:

Cripps, Cerra, Martin, Pittonet, Owies are in

Walsh, Silvagni + 3 (and the sub) are out.

My guess would be Young, Honey, Ed and Cowan/Dow go out.

Maybe Cuningham is rested if doing light duties at training.
Owies in? Are we playing him motlop Fogarty in the same team

Probably an in-house dance off to find the fittest out of Motlop & Owies.

A calf-off, if you will.

I will say that for me attitude is everything and the way we are now running and tackling in numbers makes a big difference. Our defence is very good. Pies should be favourites but they have been up for a while and I believe if we bring the effort we did against Port we are a real chance

with our injuries, all the effort in the world would not bridge that gap. pies will suffocate us, and win by 6 goals.

Rubbish! They only beat us by 4 goals earlier this year when we were playing terrible footy and just bombing it long for Moore to pick us off.

The way we have been playing over the past 5 weeks is better than anything we saw in 2022 when we lost by a kick to them each time.

We are in this right up to our necks, regardless of our injuries. Bring the pressure and no doubt we can come away with a victory.

But maybe that was an off performance from them.

If Cripps, Cerra and Martin , and also Motlop play, it gives us a chance.

Pitto in helps as Charlie will need TDKs support in the forwardline.

If the above are all in, then I don't think injuries are an issue - you will always have some players out, and to be a good team the basis of our success should be team-work (as it has been the last 5 games).

Obviously too many Outs is a problem for anyone, but if the above are IN then I think that is sufficient man power and there should be no excuses.

They looked like they didn't get out of second gear that day.

Kick straight and we win. Our pressure has been the key this year and it smothered Collingwood for 3 quarters last week.
Clubs have shown that the Pies will wilt under intense pressure. The key is to bring it for 4 quarters. I have faith, even with the injuries that if we bring the heat, the win is there to take.
Plus Jamie Elliott is being pumped up this week as the sharpshooting messiah. That will jinx him for sure.
Cottrell and Cerra with 2 each. Blues by 8 points.

Imagine if we are down by 3 goals at 3/4 time and then pile on 6 goals in the last to win??

We have had more shots on goal than they have in our last 2 games against them so yeah kicking straight could be a difference

In one of those games we have more inside 50s than they did and in the other game inside 50s were equal

I’ll be hibernating when this game is on. I won’t be able to handle the stress unless we are 70 points up with 5mins to go

I'll still be nervous if we're 70 up with 10 seconds to go.

I have a work function tomorrow night and I think I will go to that. As much as I want to watch this game, I can't handle the stress and if we play like shit I will have wished I went out anyway.

If we get to half time and we're looking good I will probably high-tail it out of there and go and watch the second half at the WA Blues Supporters pub.

Sounds about right. Dow gets to sub it again.
