Marchbank Emergency. I assume McGovern will be given until Saturday

 sounds like a plan.

Andrew Russell cops more shit than Paddy Dow yet he seems to be getting these blokes up . Martin and Cunningham and now Marchbank who are three of our more talented players .

Agree. Not to mention McGovern and esp Charlie who most people thought would never fully recover.

For me, it was never an Andrew Russel thing.
He's good at his job and is why the Dawks were pi$$ed when he left and why he has been here so long.
The recruiting of injured players, the constant changing of coaches and game style and the need to play injured players because of depth issues has always been the problem IMO.
With a side serve of bad luck too.

I am quite surprised that Port have also omitted 3 players given they have had to make 4 forced changes.

7 changes must be very disruptive to a team. I have a feeling they are priming themselves for Collingwood next week at home.

I smell opportunity in the air!!

They'll never stop stop stop till they're (second from) top, top top!

For those who plan to catch the train today there are bus replacements on many lines this weekend.

Big challenge for our midfield. If Wines goes to Cripps and shuts him down, it will be interesting to see our contest numbers without Kennedy in the side.
Now is as good a time as any to see where we're at. Butters and Rozee are excellent players but smaller bodies. I'd like to see our blokes test them out physically.

could be one of those rounds where seven or nine games are decided by a kick! usually a few upsets and boil overs when that happens, through in the past Blues have been the ones who didn’t get the memo. i trust they’re more motivated now.

This is where its at.

Will Cripps allow wines to dominate him? I don't think so. Fingers crossed.
Kennedy is unique, but Hewett isnt shy for the contest, and he's playing for his spot.

Cerra and Walsh are bigger than Rozee and Butters, and our boys play hard, and fair.

I can't see us losing this battle if we all have a dip.
Lets test their 'sore' bodies as Cornes likes to pitch it. Prick.. We are ripe as we will ever be. And Cornes knows it. Prick

Bring it on. Go Blues.

Great. Like the side. We are SO much better balanced with only one ruckman

The structure where Teague could overrule him on selection and standards was a major issue

Agree. I like the line up

Dow getting sub after missing last week with concussion is unexpected but good
