Great news. Wish I was there. It was suppose to be a drenching during the day today. Here on the beach its cloudy but no rain for a few hours now. I got that off a twitter feed Bondi - they are training tomorrow at Homebush Yeah, I think the word was that if he gets through todays session then he can get on the plane and go to Sydney, right? That's right. I put 2 and 2 together and thought SB was at Homebush, and thought maybe the Blues flew the whole entourage to Sydney given the VFL have a bye...which they do, but that can't be so because Carlton's VFL team have a game against a Fitzroy team made up of indigenous and ethnic teenagers. |

A lot of talk around “H” omission. Much of it the usual hysteria around “most important player” missing. Not true! If the team brings its hunger, improving maturity, system and team defence then we will go a long way to winning this match. The boys will be extra hungry to win interstate too. I’m interested to see how big Charlie goes as the focal tall target for six weeks. Let’s see the positives. We have the cattle. Great inclusion is Motlop. Boys will lift with him in the team. Let’s play four quarters and the result should take care of itself Go Blues! |

In that case I think Dow will play to enable Crippa and Kennedy more time forward. Hewett was named on extended bench vs GCS and played. Kennedy & Cerra were named on the extended bench against Hawks and played. Kennedy has been named several times on an extended bench and has played. I can't recall any time a star player was named on the extended bench and failed to pass a fitness test this year. Hewett got through training on Wednesday and pulled up well. I can't see why he would miss. Its been 3 weeks since he last played and he was named to play against Adelaide 1 week ago but wasn't risked. |

We need to bring pressure to the ball carrier... GWS fall to bits if we can sustain that... Previous years we were nowhere near it... This year we're one of the better teams at it Go Blues |

I don't think it would be a win for the ages if we do win, we still have 4 of our top 5 players playing and a swag of others. Also we are playing 15th. In saying that it would still be a very good win. Realistically if we win one of this or the Sydney games, we are doing well. |

Put aside our away form thus far. I watched our last 2 games, last night & today. I was looking for a reason to believe I may have a great day at GWS Stadium for a change. We are coming off 2 huge wins. We are in form. I saw Young and Harry playing roles for the team. I concluded if we had other players in their roles, we would have still have won handsomely in the last 2 weeks. Its not about 2 players. The boys would know that. Vossy will get them ready. There will be a lot of Carlton noise (sadly, not from missnauts clan) if we get the game on OUR TERMS. |

AS expected. The news is better with Georgie, and the headline coming in. I expect Boyd as sub In: B.Kemp, L.Plowman, G.Hewett, J.Motlop Out: Le.Young (HS Protocol), J.Martin (calf), H.McKay (knee), J.Boyd (omitted), M.Cottrell (Medi-Sub) We should win this one. Have to get better and play 3 1/2 quarters. |

I know what you mean, but Harry & Young are significant outs from a structural perspective. I also think TDK is due for a ‘down’ game after doing well the last two games. It’s a lot to expect him to maintain that level week after week at this stage of his development. Hopefully Kemp can come in and play his role, whichever end of the ground he’s used. I wonder if Plowman will be asked to play above his size in defence and Kemp will start forward? I reckon we might be up against it this week…… |

The two wins were against shit opposition Posters like yourself don’t take that into consideration Looking at GWS it’s hard to believe there 15 th with that team Clearly Cameron had had enough or the players had enough of him 3 things from me I would play Weitering on Greene. He is GWS best forward. Williams Saad and Docherty aren’t lock down defenders Play Plowman on Hogan who is overrated Play Kemp on Himmelberg Play your best defender on their best forward DeBoer will obviously go to Cripps . Lock him down and it will be interesting how we go. Our two worst efforts were against GC and Port where we lost and nearly lost. Cripps off early in the first game didn’t play in the second game If he has an off day which he is due to have will the rest step up. So far that’s been an obvious fail Extremely important Hewitt plays if he is fit. Hard nut and a good clearance player. Walsh doesn’t look 100% to me. Cerra is classy but I want him to stay at that same level when circumstances get a bit tougher All to be revealed Sunday |

DeBoer has taken Cripps to the cleaners everytime he has played on him. If Cripps wins this battle we win the game. I think last time Cripps was out and he went to Walsh Sent from my SM-F926B using Tapatalk |

The coaches have a system that they believe in, the players believe in, and is bringing results. Ins and outs don't matter. Bring the effort and the wins will come. The belief is finally building.
