my last one was rubbish

He is one of a number of similar style players we have picked up in recent years, typically slight, cover the ground well, good endurance, reasonably good outside skills.
We picked up running players and then put them in a team that plays 'kick it long to a contest and then scrap for the crumbs' footy.
Meanwhile, other teams picked up players lower in the draft and dared to use the skills they were drafted for.
How stupid is that?
