Harry is a project player, not a seasoned, able forward player.

Our entire forward line was let go, for various reasons, and we didn't restock with ever a couple of blokes who could bag 2 or 3 each.

All players once thought of as maybe being around to taste success are now facing the reality of being done before success arrives. They aren't silly, they would know it.

Set them free, they aren't inspirational for the new breed.
Synbad blames the board. I'm not convinced they can get in the ears/minds of the new players now that Bolts is in.

Get as many new, young players in as possible, as quickly as possible. Let them lose together, feel the pain together and build together without any relics of the last decade bringing them down.

Yep, we'll be slaughtered a few times along the way and call me a fool but I believe in Bolton. He is the most articulate coach we have had since Parkin. His word is deliberate and measured and commands attention.
He needs youth to ingrain a level of commitment into.

It's too late for our senior players. They have been tainted by the old ways and, like a gangrenous limb, need to severed before their infection spreads.
