We have lost our last 3 games against them by 22, 22 and 23 points respectively... I'm sure buddy will have an impact on that pattern tonight.

Possibly. But they had Tippett last year, and not this year.

That was Tippett's second game after a verh long lay off. Buddy is in red hot form.

the important thing is,
we play for 4 quarters
with an oval ball
on an oval ground
be inclusive to all body types
and include some spectacular marks and goals.
I've thought about this for at least 18 months.

If current form is anything to go by then we should, maybe, hopefully, with our backs against the wall, put up a good fight and bring it against the Swans. That being said, it is Sydney at home and like it or not, they are in red hot form. Sydney will win, this I do not doubt, but there is a small possibility we may actually make a game of it and give ourselves, if anything, some respectability by final siren.

If this happens, its an honorable loss. Anything else ...hell its Sydney at home. Anything under 50 points and I'll say we did pretty well.

I have a feeling we're going to win!
Sydney has won a bazilion games in a row and might just take it a bit easier against the soft blues.
They may also be thinking a little about the top of the ladder bout next round with the hawks.
We go in as massive underdogs, which seems to suit us.
We haven't been smashed by Sydney for 4 qtrs recently. Usually they smash us in 1qtr and then we match it with them for the rest of the match...

I reckon this could be close to the youngest team we've played this year. Only 2 30 yr olds.

Every team smash us by one quarter, and for us it is game over against the 16 better sides.

If North can beat them up there then so can we.....................Sydney depth ? so what ! they can only have 18 players on the ground at the one time, same as us.There midfield is there strength and that is where i reckon we can not only match them but beat them.If Murphy,Judd,Gibbs and McLean get 25 touches each then we win.And i dont reckon they will have any trouble racking up those numbers. And then you can throw in Tommy Bell getting his hands on it and i reckon we will have 'em on the back foot....................and Buddy kicked 1 goal only last week so he isnt in the career best form some seem to think. He had a three week purple patch and thats it.

Im backing the Blues in a boilover in the harbour city.
