Scary thing is they had to sell the farm to get someone to tell them the list was flower.
There were plenty of dopey keyboard warriors on here like us that could have told them for free

You could call Sticks obtuse... but only if you gave him a dictionary

A proper footy manager would have been able to guide this club a long time before this all happened.

Incorrect! A footballer manager's job, among other tasks, is to balance the list or more importantly have a balanced list ie. no. of midfielders, ruckman, KP, etc. The list quality is controlled by a no. of individuals such as coach, recruiters, footballer manager, etc.
The very reason why a "group" setup is better than an "individual" setup.

By the way - I am really bracing** myself for the Malthouse cull.
I feel for kids such as McInnes, Lucas, Graham, Watson and the like.
I hope they get another opportunity elsewhere, ala Laidler.

/laidler is ok in a side where the midfield runs both ways.. not in a side without midfield...
its not like hes playing good football...
hes an average player.. but in a team of average players he gets exposed.

and yes all those average players you mentioned.. and in most cases sub average are all at thi cub at the one side

and a football managers job is to run the footy dept....

something we havent been doing.... ill make a wild guess as how i know that....
because we have been poor in footy circles for 15 years....

Yeah,
because ONLY Mick trades and delists people.

How unreasonable of him.

We should keep them on forever until they become All Australians.
That's what ANY other team would do - Malthouse is just the worst.

Let's get back Rhys O'Keefe and Marcus Davies while we're at it.
Mick ruined their careers too.

BLOODY MICK!

Who else is coming to make an offering to the cult of Mick? I'm about to slaughter a goat.

That single sentence sums up just about every facet of the Carlton Football Club over the last decade and a half.

Carrazzo and McLean didnt do much to improve their standing today. The game has passed both by.

They are really a negative out there

........didn't seem to miss Robinson that much out there either (granted his last month has been better than previous years)

Wait on, sure his best footy is behind him, but he'd had 13 touches to the early part of the 2nd qtr when he was subbed, he wasn't a negative to that stage anyway, so let's keep it balanced, hey.
