Wow, that's seriously inspirational.
Barack Obama wants you.
You're going to spend a very very long time on the MCC waiting list with shit like that.
Royal Melbourne Golf Club, forget it.
The club need to capture that and use it.

Eloquence is one of the 21st century's rarest commodities.

Enjoy it whilst you have it.

But please rick

Barack

Apart from trebling seppo debt, in turn putting the world economy on straw like foundations and doing flower all on the global cop front, he is a good orator.

But, but, but, he's the first minority president.

Yeah. I'm thinking about joining. Would being old and retired, not living in the country and not being married into an old-money Carlton family exclude me?

While I personally have no time for a networking club if these kids have its their business. We are still a democratic club of sorts.

If the whingers out there don't like it why don't they put in the time and effort that these kids have and set up a club with their own set of requirements that they believe will be beneficial to the CFC.

Enough time is spent criticising the initiatives of others without detractors introducing initiatives themselves.

That's the point, the YCP group is endorsed by the club and is directly linked to board members.

Then that I'm afraid isn't just their business...

It becomes every CFC member's business...

It becomes my business even if I can't join the club.

If anybody wants to network they can do that outside the club in their own time and space.

Its a Think Tank :smoking:

Right

I went to a young professionals night recently. I had a few beers and got a few cards.
I didn't do any plotting to bring down an organisation, just met like minded, similarly aged people and had a good evening.
I assume this young professionals group is no more than that.

I don't think I'd have had such a good night if there were a bunch of people standing around asking for the charter of our group and accusing me of being elitist.

Didn't you old blokes have something like APEX to meet other young professionals?
Those sort of Clubs don't exist anymore do they?

Who wants to hang around with people their own age anyway? You do that in primary school. By the time I was 15 I much rather wanted to hang out with people of all ages, as I do now.

I learn a lot from many of my friends who are 20 years younger than me and some who are over 30 years younger. I also spend time with people who are 5, 10, and 15 years older.

Age never comes into it. Our society's fixation with people's ages is weird!!
