Thankfully, Trent Dennis-Lane won't be there

I would love to go up for the game. I went to 2 interstate trips already this year and a bit expensive for me.
Has the club organised any buses up, a cheaper option would be good.
At this stage i will be watching from Visy Park.

I paid the price for waiting an extra day kezza..
A bus up is a great idea. ring the club maybe?

Carlton’s First Semi-Final showdown with Sydney will be screened live at Visy Park this Saturday night. Members and supporters who can’t make it interstate for the match, are encouraged to come to the Club and cheer on the Blues.

The Live Site, proudly brought to you by Hyundai, will open its gates from 6:00pm.

Agree that they should also organise a heap of coaches for any supporters (members or otherwise) to go up. Seems pretty obvious.

Cachia not worth a look in?

I wouldn't go for Casboult on account of his two left feet when kicking for goal. Has only kicked multiple
goals once this year (against Richmond) and they were 20 metres out and in the goal square due to a 50 metre penalty.

Would rather not go tall for this game, Sydney won't either after they got slaughtered last week trying to go top heavy.

Yes. Mind you the previous coach had us in this same situation 2 years ago but if you think its all about Mick, knock yourself out.
The truth is the players have performed well and deserve to be there. Yes the coaches have contributed well, but to suggest Mick is solely responsible for our current position is mind boggling

"Meek and disorganised group of players"
What a load of shit.
It makes you wonder what some people on this site view as being a "supporter"

"Disorganised" is a minor pot at Malthouse by the way. And I stand by "meek" - othe words you could apply are introverted, lacking aggression and assertiveness. Look at the way Freo hunt and harass the opposition. That's the benchmark, and we are obviously working on it, but no question we've been lacking.

The form of McInnes is a real worry and he is a bit of a liability at the moment. He will be better next year after a full preseason to help him overcome the knee reco.
If the MC want a designated 3rd tall I think they could do a lot worse than bring in Laidler.

If Kreuzer doesn't play then Casboult to come in.
If McLean is fit then Menzel to go out and make Duigan the sub.

Rowe might be the one to come in for Kreuzer, instead of Casboult. He isn't as good a mark but gives us a bit more versatility. If things aren't working, Rowe can go onto Tippett or The Canadian so we can release Hendo forward.

Laidler was injured, probably hasn't played for 6 weeks at a guess, maybe longer. No chance he'll play.

The Hawks had the right idea last week in dominating the ruck over Pike and Mumford, and running with pace. This forced Longmire to sub out Mumford for Jetta to try and match it, but this upset their forward line and and blew out Tippett's influence as he ran out of legs.

..do we know the exact nature of Krooz's injury..?.. ..hindered him for much of the game, but he still was good in the ruck contests and helped tremendously with his 1%ers.. ..if he played the game out, any chance of him getting up for this week?, since we know he's capable of playing thru pain, just whether the injury can be played with or not..

To use Duigan as a sub gives Mick a forward/back and (at a stretch) mid. option. The moustachioed one proved himself unflappable on sunday but it was his ability to switch on instantly that's a massive plus. If he starts forward I'm sure Horse will have a plan to nullify his influence. As sub more unpredictable. He's a very positive person, young Nick - offers value even just sitting alongside his team mates.
