isnt the % going to narrow when you compare it to the initial stages, i.e. 15000 v 18750 is 25% but just 3750 members more.

fact is weve been tracking at between 3-3.5k members more than same time last year all the way along.

That would put us at just under 47k, and as you've just pointed out, it's more or less a fixed or shrinking margin on last year's figures: I'm saying we'll be close to 49k. Maybe some generous benefactors will buy 500 memberships a piece, but they'd be better off handing the club a cheque.

I think artificially inflating the membership is the way forward.

On one of the other Blues sites, they only update the current numbers about once a week.

I don't think it ever jumps that much, regardless of how many sign up. It seems that they only process a few hundred a day, so even if another 5k sign, we will probably still see the number creep up over the coming weeks

No it jumps. The call centre will take people off the phones and increase the numbers processing forms.

Won't jump 5k though.
