At least by sacking the head of the membership department it takes away the sack Ratts campaign (for a while anyway)

Good to see the club put a half page membership add in todays HUN. Interesting to read that 7,351 members from last year havent renewed this year. It also means that about 7,300 new members have come on board.

Finally we have passed last years total. It is now 40,579. Good to see a few hundred people joined since our good win last Friday night.

Where's that figure from?

And if it's accurate that's just 435 in 14 days...

Membership total comes from an email from the club sent to members on line
435 in 14days is terrible.hence the advertising this week

I will be happy if we can eclipse our 2009 total but somehow I doubt but you never know thrashing the AINTS may wake up a few elapsed members

If James Hird say's we're a premiership threat we'll crack 50k.

Now I know why the BluePrint contained no measurable public figures.

40k is a failure for everything Carlton.

Perhaps now the club will take membership complaints in this thread seriously:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29672

Richmond, the most unsuccessful club of the last 30 years, now has nearly 46K members... 5 and a half thousand more than us. What an utter disgrace. Heads need to roll in the membership and comms departments.

I paid for membership on February 26th and have not received anything. In the past an envelope of goodies arrived and as I live out of Australia no cap. This year, nothing after almost 3 months.

It goes deeper than the membership comms depts.

It's about inclusiveness... and that's an attitude that needs to be portrayed from those at the top... the Board.

got a nice CFC Compendium from the SoC today in the mail...

I paid for mine, and my son's membership in mid March; only took a fortnight to arrive.

Good work membership department.

Aspire to something and it's amazing what can happen:

"The Tigers have also reached their target in the “Operation 10,000” campaign of 10,000 new members in 2011."

What is honestly wrong with us? The Pies are hitting 70k, Bombers 50k+, Hawks 50k+, Tigers pushing 50k. And we are languishing on 40k!

I know the last decade have had some tough years, which meant it was simply impossible to get excited about our side, but everyone goes through that. Where is everyone?!

I wouldnt take much notice of Hawthorn or Richmonds membership.
Hawks have 10000 Tas members and Tigers have said they have eclipsed their
2009 m/ship which they say was 46000+but the league had them marked down for 36000+
lets wait till june 30th and see how we go

Pies+and Bombers membership increased for the pies - due to a flag and for the Bombers - hirdy +thompson.

In saying that I have always believed we are the 4th best supported team IN Victoria-Pies,Bombers,Tigers then us

If the larger membership figures correlates with larger membership revenues then it is something to take notice of. We could match revenue by selling higher value memberships, but then you need to ask the question why we aren't catering for the casual followers to increase revenues further?
