Martin knocked back 800k why cant Scully be offered more especially if they dont have a G Abblett to pay .If they rate Scully a star they will pay what they need to to get him. I would prefer to get a 19yo Scully for $1mil than a 27yo Brennan for 6-700k. Its like saying a good Danehill colt is not worth much coz he won the Slipper at only his 2nd start. All that money for a horse that only raced twice !!!!! Scully's youth is a bonus not a negative as GWS have stated they don't expect to develop as quickly as GC.
