 Not at all...was just brought up not to like Preston. And Coburg. And Port Melbourne. But I do take a vested interest in the development of the Carlton youngsters, hence go to quite a few 'Ants games during the course of the year. It doesn't worry me that David Teague is your coach...but I don't want him to be one of 'our' coaches.

For his own development, he needs his own side...or assistant at another AFL club if they're willing. I think we've afforded him the perfect stepping stone to find his way in the AFL world without having to hold the hand of Carlton.

It's the strategies and positioning that needs work

Interesting suggestions Twocox. What are their strengths?

I would be talking to the bloke that sat next to "Lethal" when the Lions were the wrecking ball of the competition, that being the unassuming Craig Lambert.

Seeing as how Fitzgerald has just won his third VFL flag in a row, any reason why he couldn't be approached? Don't know his specialty or if he even has one but he must have some outstanding qualities.

I wonder how he'd do in the pressure cooker environment that is the AFL, but there's no doubt he is a decent coach.

People who praise Teague, notice the difference between Teague's quarter-time address and Fitzgerald's at three quarter-time. If he's ever going to progress, Teague has a long way to go.

Pretty sure you didn't see Teague's address in full Jimmae.

Pretty sure you didn't see Teague's address in full Jimmae.

It was decent, and certainly better than the Casey address they showed, but Fitzgerald's was another level of professionalism. What's more, his players were on the same page as him despite this.
