Not overly confident about this game.
We have too many underdone players in tomorrow, assuming they all play.
Hopefully Brock will play well in his 100th game.

Like to see Juddy go back to a mainly outside role with Brock and Hads working in the clinches.
If Brock and Hads can get clean clearances out to Judd Murph etc we'll win.

This will release Carrotts back to the negating role he played so well against StKilda.

Will be very interesting viewing.

Things that make you go hmmm...no.72
Richmond'll probably find a way to lose though. :?

Wiggo will come in for one of the underdone players and Yarran if fit might come in also.

I'm a fan of pace.

I've been on the Armfield side of the fence in the Browne vs Armfield debate over the last 2 years.

Armfield is one of our 3 best line breakers (judd and Bower being the other 2)

Losing Armfield's express pace is massive imo. He would rip the WCE a new one if he were playing.

Not saying we wont cover him, because we have covered for Judd's absence before.

What's massive? It's just a word, footy lingo, slang, but it does cause massive debating issues.

I'm confident aobut this one, wasn't agasint the Hawks.

We're good coming off a loss. Sure we have 4 out, but Johnson is not in our best 22, and Walker is an upgrade on White any way you look at it.
Hadley in always in our best 22 IMO. We need him to play 6 or 8 in a row because I believe he is really important to us.
If Mclean can get fit then he might move ahead of Hadley but what he's dished up so far has been ordinary.
But I'm happy to have both in considering injuries. Both are decent players and bring some hardness that we had none of last week.

Yarran has been inconsistent but we will miss his class,
I think we will miss Army's run the most,
but Walks will make up for some of that.
Browne will know he has to take his chance, hope he has a good game.

All in all I think our changes this week are in improvement on last weeks team

Good summation Jake. This exactly how I feel also. Go Hads!

And we'd cop a lovely fine.

Other than the fine (which I doubt we'd want to subject ourselves to) I can't see why we'd do that.

Keeping Wiggo and Yarran such a big surprise is not going to blow the game apart or disrupt the selections of WCE.

I reckon it's just a rumour.

Sorry guys I was looking for a bite. They are not emergencies so can't come in. :donk: Wish we were playing tonight.

I'm trying to remind myself that before the season began I was going to be happy with a "top of the bottom 8" finish. Recent performances against the Saints & Cats, & media hype, have lured me to contemplate the idea that we are a Top 4 / 8 team. In hindsight this is nonsense, & I'm going to temper my future expectations.
Give me a win over Essendon* & Collingwood next time we meet, & I'll be a happy blueboysgal

i've tipped an upset. We have some ore boys playing tomorrow and i know for sure two would have been rested if it weren't for the four injuries this week.

My ignorance is showing here so would appreciate help,
Is Setanta not better in the HF line where he can go hunting the ball a bit more and create more of a nuisance of himself in chasing and crashing packs rather than being isolated in the square?

Plays the role of being in the square well. We can kick long to him if no better options present and at the least he wont be out marked. He always creates a contest and keeps his feet.
He does push up the ground when try to open up space behind him for his little helpers. Playing him as a true half forward is an option but you have to be a smart player for that position and also a little more nimble than Carlos IMO.
