Do you really think they would name White as CHF then drop him?
after reading this
http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/92924/default.aspx, yes i do.
The only way someone named in the 18 can be dropped at this point is to be a late withdrawal, either through injury or suspension. That doesn't look like happening.
The bench loses three players, it's a simple as that.
if thats the case then it's refreshing to see that white will be in.
so thats 4 out of Jeff Garlett, Richard Hadley, Kane Lucas, Brock McLean, Mitch Robinson, Jarrad Waite, Robert Warnock to stay.
Garlett will surely play, as will lucas. the worlds gone mad otherwise. Lucas would be stiffer to miss than white IMO.
I can't fathom we would drop warnock and only play one recognised ruck.
so the bench will probably be garlett, lucas, warnock and one of either hads or brock?
it kinda feels like the MC haven't even decided yet and ratts seems torn about waitey which is understandble.
i'd rather he reward form over reputations at this stage but he may take a 'horses for courses' approach and play waite.
waite would be less vulnerable on the rebound on one of the big three and it may actually give him the conferdence he needs to run and carry/set up play on a big lumbering forward.
a few people are saying white will smash pods - why the extreme confidence? white was impressive last week, but if the supply is good he's really going to have his hands full in he's second game. good luck to him though. he's been one of the finds of the season.
no matter who plays - if we play to our strengths we can win.
do we go for run and speed with garlett/lucas or grunt with brock and hads? maybe something in between.
and where does waite fit in.
interesting...we haven't had this problem for about a decade!
