All I care about is the Bentley is out.....

He better be out, or else we have completely lost the plot.

I'll second that, surely he can't get a another gig after last weeks performance.

I think the plot was lost when we put him in......

But, the plot can be found again by dropping him!

I think Bentley's only go is a clearance type player, but we have far too much midfield class now for him to get a go there. And as for negating, I would have Joseph, Ando, Grigg, Bannister all well ahead of him, among others

Austin better be in. Develop our KPP ffs, and there is no better time then against Freo.

I defended the Bentley selection decision at the time, but once I saw him play in the flesh last weekend I couldn't believe they picked him.

Runs like Bentick, and fumbled terribly.

We can ill-afford to be arrogant about this game.

Please Hadley in for Bentley, my office is full of Port supporters... hearing about their reject getting selected for the Navy Blues and how it cost us the game against the Hawks is starting to really annoy me!!!!

The other muted slections of Hampson and Yarran coming in seem more common sense than anything.

i hope Pavlich plays in the midfield..Cant see them kicking a winning score without him up forward.

Also hope Tarrant plays on Fev...didnt Fev run rings around him at Bunbury before being injured?

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think the $1.25 Blues and $4 Dockers odds are about right, albeit maybe a bit inflated towards a Carlton win (we're not that good yet, as a 3-3 record shows).

As the poster above alluded to, Pavlich has historically been the one player (playing up forward) to give us major grief. If he goes forward, we would probably struggle to contain him. Any proof needed just go to the Ess and Haw games this year (ie: Lloyd, Roughead).

But these days they are playing him in midfield, and even though defense is our weakness I just can't seem playing him forward this weekend (they'd want to carry on with the new game plan), which sort of plays right into our hands as it alleviates our biggest achillies heel.

Only issue then is can a Pavlich led midfield get the better of Judd, Gibbs, Murphy, Stevens etc? Unlikely you would think.
