Scotland's 150th game in Navy Blue coming up this weekend - a great milestone for the ex-Pie.

From the Blueseum

PS. Scotland is currently our most experienced player by AFL Games played. Which listed player has played more senior games in Carlton colours than Scotland?

Fantastic game from Scotland and a fantastic servant of this club. Hitting a few milestones this year, and hopefully a few more to come.

**sacks question editor**

Yes, both Thornton and Houlihan have played more games in navy Blue than Scotland.

No milestones this week as far as we can see. Scotland is close to becoming the player to have worn #29 more than any other player soon...

IMO he will be the hardest player in the team to replace when his time comes to retire.
Huge motor (Simmo)
Great on his preferred side (Simmo)
Great on his non-preferred side (Errrrr..)

It will be ages before someone like Yarran has his motor. If Bower keeps improving and can go all day he may be the one byt Scotto is more deisel than Deisel ever was in terms of his endurance.

Easily the best pickup of his year and would still get a game at Collingwood.

I remember asking my late cousin (pies fanatic) about scooter when we picked him up. His reply was, with gritted teeth, "he'll probably win your B&F"....

He was'nt far of and scooter hss been so solid for the longest time now..... :thanks:

Scotland will rack up another record soon - most games in guernsey #29 for the Blues.

Ellard will this week rack up #10 in #46, beating John Warden.

Well done Ellard, the No.46 record has stood for a while,I was hoping Robert Hubbard may have broken thsi record held by John Warden but he fell 10 games short

Looked at home last night, kicked a vital goal, and generally got the job done.

I thought he was in our best players and if he didnt get rubbed out in the praccy game against the crows I reckon he would have been in the team from Rd 1.

Much as I like Dave Ellard (and think he should play every week), I'm sort of glad he got rubbed out as otherwise Curnow wouldn't have got a game. Ratten said s much a couple of weeks ago.

By the way any other TC'ers who remember John Warden?

My memory is of a skinny red-head wing/HFF who had a dip but with limited skill.

Absolutely I remember him. Came on the scene about the same time as Phil Pinnell.
Raw boned ranga. Probably could have played more senior games, but it was a pretty good unit he was trying to crack into. Yes he was no46, but he also wore no9. Don't know how many games he played in each.
