Reading this article, it seems Pratt is even surprised how much Graeme Samuel is after him, the references to Samuel's ACCC indicates that.

I would have that that Pratt's high priced lawyers would have negotiated that ACCC pursue no related charges as part of last year's settlement.

Am I the only one who still wishes Sticks wasn't even on the Board, let alone interim President.

I noticed that too buzz, I think it strongly indicates to all and sundry that this is driven by Samual and no one else.

If there was no Samuel heading the ACCC, this would not have happened.

It's pretty good when you can have a club legend like Kernahan step straight in and take over. Given he was the one who got Pratt here in the first place it will be like Pratt has never gone. :-D

Whether he comes back as pres or not, I believe they should name the new Training Facility when it is finished after him. He started the fightback in a real sense, when the new facility is completed that will pretty much complete the comeback!

Just a thought!

Go Blues!

according to ten news perth our club is in turmoil and our president is a disgrace who has been forced to step aside

:media:

its a non issue - pratt will not stop contributing to the club, he has done the club a massive service - helped us out of the darkness and he will ensure that carries on.

The president is a figure head position anyway and pratt will continue behind the scenes.

Don't stress about it but if you ever need a good laugh - bookmark the thread on bigfooty  not much intellect over there

Now that the news has sunk in i am quite comfortable with it all. Pratts work is done. We are on the up with good people in the right jobs running the club. Money is no longer a problem and fresh cash will continue coming to the club. We have a great young list and a good young coach.

I am sure he will cope with the charges and if they do happen to stick i am sure he will cope with the punishment which wont be jail.

Pratt will be thanked onstage at the grandfinal celebrations after 17 for being the man who not only saved us but took us to the top.
We will all cheer and hail him King Richard!

It will be magic.

PS Loving Sticks at the helm even though i know he will only be a puppet for those who really make the decisions.

Nice thought, but it would be strange to see the Pratt training facility next to the Pratt stand. :)

this has probably been mentioned somewhere in this thread, but to save me the trouble of reading through it, i know it's really early for this kind of stuff to be decided on, but are we likely to go ahead with the proposed plans to upgrade our training facilities to be better than the lexus centre or is it likely that the quality of our facilities will drop??

why? we have all our collingwood posting heavily scrutinised on this board ... fair enough, i don't care ...

given that mandy is a part of this community, why am i not allowed to point out her assertion that judd is a lying, mercenary money bags? that our club has a criminal connotation?

is it wrong of us to expect pratt to provide a portion of the fees required to get these facilities to be the way we planned them to be while he was prez? are we sure he will continue to assist us financially? do we even need his assistance to get the facilites as good as we want them or is more to do with the council? either way, i'm still rapt with what he's done for us, no one else in the world would have done a better job but i feel these facilities are the last piece of the premiership puzzle.

1. There's a time and a place. And this was neither.
2. It was a light hearted gag.
3. It looked to me like you were readying for a fight/personal attack.
