Why look around at other clubs and learn from the character traits of others when you can stick your head in the sand and be all pious?

Clearly, other clubs have had full fowards with similar issues to Fev as mentioned by 1979 NSM. If the issues can be managed why would you trade a matchwinner?

Of course Fev has issues which need attention. But take him out of the team and watch our young guns become very demoralised very quickly with week in week out beltings next year.

How can you even compare the two

You don't think Williams spat the dummy?

I liken to Fevola to Mooney.

but get carried away at times, but if fev can do what Mooney does and control that, he will become a gun, like Mooney.

Well the Committee that just appointed Ratts must be simpletons, as they suspended Fevola for a week recently in an attempt to get him to grow up and concentrate on his football; and to cut out the sooking and sulking.

Of course he did but he didn't sulk like a two year old

Fev's a loose canon his highs are brilliant but his lows are awlful and there are to many lows

Jarusa use to post a comparison on Fev to lloyd a few years back he seems to have stopped doing it- I would suggest Lloyd is miles in front by now .

He is the only bloke I can think of at the moment who has a FOR SALE tattoo across forehead . They dont do things like that for good reason

Its always he is not for sale But !!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO woopee doooooo!!!!

Probably the club needed a shake up.
Its noyt Fevolas fault alone.. its a club culture.
Boozing!
Being fat!
Seagulling (Campo)

etc...

Just put it down to a decade of poor leadership and commitment on and off the field by players /coaches / administrators.

Things are changing.. what has not changed is how difficult it is to find a spearhead.

What you want to do is to set guidelines that set out what is expected.
What you want to do is establish some meaninfulness a sense that the club is going places and not merely existing.
Fevola is the type of player that can help he club go places.

Trading him to appease some bloke in the stands who merely demands it is just asking for a big slap in the face down the line..

a very big slap in the face.

Football is about talent... he has more talent in his little finger than most players have in their whole body... the trick is to extract it rather than putting it into the too hard basket because the bananas dont like 'sooking'.
Thats not a challenge.. unless the same banans can come up with a ripper trade IN OUR FAVOUR theyre feeding the chooks...

Fev is the best ff in the country except for maybe Brown..So to trade in our favour we want Brown... or Judd.

We dont want Mitch Hahn and pick 9

Like i said to Popeye.. give me a realistic trade (in our favour)and then we can talk about trading the best FF in the business

You certainly won't get Judd or Brown.....they are streets ahead of Fev in attitude and performance......streets ahead......not even on the same page.

It was only a year or so ago when Brown missed half a season for undiscilpined acts and rubbed out with a string of suspensions.

Ok we wont get Judd or Brown but i thought we were looking for a trade to suit us.. not the bananas who just want him traded???

So give me an example of what youd trade Fev for.... just out of curiosity...

in any sport on the planet you always pay top dollar for a power forward whether it be soccer, football whatever.

the guys with clinical finishing skills and are always cool under pressure when they have the ball in their hand; making something out of nothing is where the value lies.

who cares when the ball isn't in his hand?

maradona was the biggest sook in the history of soccer...but youd pay a billion dollars for him to get you a championship

you have to be kidding me fevola is worth less than judd.

judd cant take pack marks in between two players and kick goals from 60 meters...brown can, but he cant do half opf the things Fev is capable of doing.

So now youre a businessman.

Businessmen know that the biggest deals are the ones where the buyer comes to you when youre not looking to sell...not when youre telling everyone.. SELL!!!!

Secondly... as a businessman you obviously understand the worth of your assets... so tell me.. whats Fev worth businessman???

The fact of the matter is you would never be able to get a worthy trade for Fev. The good clubs don't have the draft picks and the shit clubs don't want to give them up. Bag Fev all you like but he hasn't performed half as bad as Tarrant or Thompson did before they were traded so who is gonna give us what he's worth?

Yes but Property... Business.. House..AFL.... you dont have to sell any of them....but you certainly want a ripper deal if youre going to sell something youve outgrown... surely you sell for a profit... or because you have to...

So whats his price on this given day.. because a) youre not motivated to sell because you have to.
So b) youre doing it for a tidy profit....

So what do you want for him??? :-D
