It's troll season!!
That's right, every softcock flower with more opinion than brains has come out from under their bridge to slam
* Pagan
* The Board
* Players, individually and collectively
I say to you, one and all go and take a F@%&#! look in the F@%&#! mirror, troll, and watch footy. Sometimes we won't win.
What were you arseholes saying after the St Kilda/Sydney matches in 95? Sack Parkin/Kernahan/Diesel/Kouta's rubbish?
Go back into your caves and spout your ill-informed bile away from TC (there are other forums you can visit for that).
You know who you are.
Its a forum for opinion and debate if you had not noticed and from my cave I did actually predict we would win the flag and then have a downturn after 1995 along with a few of the other old timers who were on the early club forum.....recruiting being my major issue...
Its you who need to look in the mirror and have a rethink and while not being Jewish I dont think your comments about comedians, little hats etc is in very good taste or appropriate....and bordering on offensive...
My comments weren't aimed at you in the slightest, Elwood, so I'm not entirely sure why you're being quite so touchy about anything I said.
I never singled out any one poster, it was more about the tone the board seems to take after a couple of losses, and how it always seems to bring the lurkers and trolls out of the woodwork.
TC is usually a happy place. Yes there are arguments and disagreements, but it's usually done in an informed and genial manner.
I cannot abide this happy place, TC, being turned into a cesspit like BigFooty, or other footy forums (fora?), and while yes, people are well within their rights to express an opinion, does every bastard with a negative attitude need to start a new thread to vent? The answer is no. After every match, there is invariably a "negatives" thread, win, lose or draw. Get the foul stuff off your chest there if you need to.
How many Sack Pagan/delist player x/it was y's fault threads do we need anyway?
Feel free to express an opinion, but express it with some semblance of intelligence (which, you always do, as far as I've always seen), and be prepared to back it up with something more than "well it's just an opinion". Is that too much to ask?
And why are there opinions on our team, as hate-fuelled as they are, more important than mine? It's my opinion that we don't need that shit, or at least we don't need as many as we end up getting.
As for my signature, I am Jewish. I didn't find it offensive. I found it funny. In terms of Jews suffering years of oppression, members of my family were killed in the Holocaust. For you to get offended on my behalf is a bit silly, really. I'm more than capable of being offended for myself, thanks.
