Fev for Santy

who else you going to drop? Kouta? Who ?

Kouta looks past it

my thoughts exactly...his heart isnt in it. you can tell....

kouta should NOT be an automatic selection every week. the option of sending him for a few weeks in the ants needs to be explored, there WILL be life after kouta and dropping him does not cause the earth to spontaneously combust.

From reports, Kouta has a Cold, would have been better off not playing and playing Kennedy.

i want to play all the kids if they are ready and sorry sentanta is not ready. will he ever be ready that is the question. he should play withthe nth bullants at chb for the rest of the year and 07 is his make or break year. as we dont have enough good players to carry him in the seniors.

As for JR well after taking that hit from croad and getting up and getting on with it showed courage and that near miss in the 3 qtr showed some poise. He needs to keep playing. will pagan allow it....ummmm something to ponder.

Teague...never to play again...he wa shocking

Scotland..how many times did he turn the ball over tonight. i dont understand how he keeps missinjg targets with no presure.

And deluca...well i have never seen in all my years of watching footy(25 years) that a key forward can have a dozen marks and not even hurt the oppostion with any of those. he has no idea!!!! he is the new momentum killer. he would hold the ball forever.

I don't know why you'd single Scotland out when the entire team generally had a poor night when it came to delivering the ball to a teammate.

he is captain----and???? why cant he play in the reserves?

Setanta is a great guy. He gives it his all. He's persistent. He's a real trier!

BUT...

The bloke should not be playing footy!

Just looks clueless and uncoordinated!

Surely he is no different at training, on what grounds was he picked?

For the same reason as Scott Howell all those years ago.
He was picked because he was Tall and we needed to bring in a tall!

if thats the case, lets bring in Bryan who we know for a fact, can find the ball, can take a contested mark, and can actually kick...

he would be deemd a senior player now and should be leading by example. I can understand is he was under pressure but alot of the time he wasnt.....that is what was disappointing!!!!

He's not the only senior player who suffered from a case of the yips tonight. The skills of the team as a whole were disappointing.

That's a fair point, man - but maybe Denis is rewarding hard work on the track etc.

Sure it may mean short term pain (i.e. maybe Bryan could have provided more tonight than o'hAilpin), but I kinda like the idea of the hard worker getting the rewards. It's how I would like my workplace to be

This is, of course, assuming that Setanta is working harder at training than Chris

The Ir ish boy would do a lot better with Fev by his side. Not saying he would write history but he would have an easier time.

If Bryan plays a half decent game tomorrow, should be brought into the side to replace either O'Hailpin, McLaren or even Deluca, I'm tired of playing guys who try hard but have no actual imput on a game.
