Now I just I got an invite too my mates wifes 30th lunch on the 22nd.

Now I am going too have too split my time, I may not make it until quarter time.

As much as I want too play I can't really miss the lunch either. I thought it would have been a Saturday night thing.

Now how do we get rid off the Carlton v Collingwood banner at the top and replace it with v Essendon*.

And is anyone cross referencing with bomberblitz too conifrm venue
etc.. :?:

pj has been in and out of there...i got banned some 12 months ago and they havent forgiven me, so i won't be able to do anything...

and THATS UNACCEPTABLE BARNESY, WE NEED COMMITMENT!!! :lol:

dont worry dude, i can picture one of those cliche endings where you rock up with 5 mins to go and we are down by a point, you bring us into a huddle and give us a stirring speech and you win the game off your own boot....you might have to shed a few little tears just for dramatic effect...!

I touched base with BomberBlitz too sure up some things, below is what I wrote.

This is our understanding of details:

DATE - Sunday 22nd January 2006

Teams - TalkingCarlton v BomberBlitz

Bounce - To be confirmed 2pm / 2:15pm / or 2:30pm

Venue - To be confirmed (probably Glenferrie Oval)

We just both need too supply a field umpire. Boundary and goal we have not used, but the more the merrier and easier for us all. Scorer as well.

We started our last game at 2pm, but are flexible. A 2:15pm start maybe better overall. Your thoughts.

Numbers

We have nearly 20 people listed for the 22nd January. We will aim at 25 and end up with probably 22 or 23 on the day.

When we played Collingwood they had 35 listed and 21 turned up. So important too be committed if you are going too turn up, but it was great fun.

We have got a couple of younger kids, one got BOG so can hold his own but they will handle their whack played in the right spirit, so we allow for that.

Obviously you guys will sought your team out, we will sought ours out, we just need to fix up a venue.

Venue Choices: ??

Glenferrie Oval -

if one of you can contact them and see if they are free that would be good, and we will try as well.

It may be good too see if there are alternatives nearby as well, just as a back up.

Anyone live in the area that may know??

I thinkit was PJ who told me that Glenferrie Oval has got work being done to the surface. This is also why Melb and Kangaroos are not playing there.
