I'll bring the pom-poms.

For Deano. They'll go well with his bag.

Mrs S will probably put in a show. You two can sit around bitching about the price of cosmetics.

Still way too early mate...

#16...you've got to be kidding...

What have you got against Jimmy Buckley?

Hmm...nothing against him at all, champion player.

The last player to wear the #16 though, shat upon Buckley and the courage and passion with which he played the game.

I know, it was yet another pissweak attempt at humour.

That's ok Deano, but there's little humour to be had when we're talking about the last #16 who played for this club...

As opposed to the muscular Adonis who is me?

The more the merrier I say, I might even be able to snag a decent sized BBQ to make a big picnic of it....

Thanks Gez, I was hoping there were some Canberra people who would put their hands up

*looks accusingly in Camel's directions...*

If I'm still in Sydney at that time-and it was needed -I'd be happy to help out-as a time keeper or a goal umpire at the other end

Where's Allan Davidson oval?

Also, got another Blues fan to put their hand up. 6'4" fit, knows the game.....Might be a handy addition.

PS: Because I started this, I want it close to my house.

Gore Hill Oval, for mine....

Or, we could try and use the SCG Praccy oval, which is in the parkland outside the SCG.

Stuff that :? (only kidding) how about Rosedale oval behind Warrick Farm racecouse. Best ground surface in Sydney not to mention its a pretty oval picket fence and all that? Also I could probably organise to have the canteen and amber liquid available as well as showers etc.

KK have you made an approach to Red and White yet or do you wish me to get the ball rolling? I know Pekay will be up for it and could discuss it further with him at my bucks in a fortnight. Let me know or give me a call on the mobile.

Hey guys, are these footy grounds easy for us Melb people to get to?

As we all will be flying up and nobody will be driving due to the huge amount of turps we are all intending to drink.

Rosedale is a two minute walk from Warrick farm station out neat liverpool (west). Can get a train there and then to homebush for the game (are we playing at homebush? cant remember)
