I must admit I don't visit the Carlton site much anymore. The reason why I don't go back is because it is out of date. Coming to this site (or previosuly TBV) allows me to get the latest info before things even happen. That is what I want and that is the benefit of an unofficial forum. It is only official when the official site posts it or when it is confirmed by Synbad!!!

What I would love to see on www.carltonfc.com.au is an encyclopedia on every player and game played for or by Carlton. It is all about knowledge, not what people think or believe. Give me facts and I am impressed. All this information is out there and it needs to be put into a database and given search capabailities and the funtionality is there. I hope someone is reading this.

Wouldn't it be great to look up Ken Hands and find out his career stats. Wouldn't it be great to look up the 99 Prelim and get all the player stats etc. Wouldn't it be great to look up Adam Mathews and the website just crashes.

Anyway that is stuff I love about the web. Just being able to find anything I want. There is a big hole in the market for this type of info so there is definitley an opportunity for someone out there.

that's sad to hear DIAMOTISM but i understand what you're saying.

dont think that stuff will happen under sportal; i think they feel as though they do enuogh given how much cash is handed over to the clubs. maybe we should keep a log of website needs / desires etc. for submission to the club (would be happy to present it myself) as the re-contracting period approaches?
