I think they're telling Sheedy if he wants to go around sucking our players, they wont be coming on a platter.
We owe Camporeale nothing.

Exactly. And I suspect they're also trying to prove that Scott Camporeale does not dictate to Carlton what has to happen. Carlton owe Campo nothing, they can keep the bloodsucker out in the cold for as long as they want as far as I'm concerned.

Ooooh I hope campo has to go to the bummers for less than the carlton offer. That will be most exciting. Maybe Essendon* will offer him a 5 year deal?

What they should do with Campo is get Robbie Walls to the club to offer the ring of fire... (Maybe Hamill can execute the plan ?)

Actually I would have taken a straight swap, Shane Strempel for Campo

So Collingwood were told not to select Campo in the PSD because he wants to go to Essendon*? Isn't that draft tampering?

Good call.

Look for an early season clash of heads between those two as they both go the dive over the same ball.

The reason why he has not been delisted is simple.

The club are still holding out some hope (not a lot I might add) that Scott will come to his senses and resign at the terms he has been offered.

As I have stated previously he would very handy across half back for us for another two, maybe three seasons, barring injury.

If the club sign Camporeale back up, I'll be very pissed off.

The guy has basically spat all over us in the media.

Mark, do you honestly think the club will take him back after what he has said and done?

Stranger things have happened P.J.

To be honest I do not think he will be back, but it not would worry me if does.

It'd worry me.

There would be more dissention amongst the group. Why would the players accept him back into the fold after what he has done? Team cohesion would go further down the toilet if we signed him back up.

However, given Campo's lust for more and more money, I doubt we will see him back in the Navy Blue.

Look at it this way PJ,

Campo has left in a huff thinking that he can do better elsewhere. Then he has to come back on our terms not his. This sends a clear message to the rest of the group. ie If you make unrealistic demands then we are quite prepared to let you go. It usually results in the player pulling thier head in a bit.

A good example is occurring with a work collegue. They made a number of demands of late and got told last week to pull thier head in or they would be let go. No ifs no buts. This week they are very subdued.

(Yes BV I can play hard ball when needed :-D )

Sorry, but I couldn't agree with the club accepting him back. If someone publicly states they want out, then you cancel their access codes to the carpark, disable their email address, help them pack their stuff and get them out the door as quickly as possible.

If their prospective employer, for whatever reason, recinds their offer then the last thing you do is invite them back.

Fancy having campo around just because we made a slightly better offer than the club he'd rather be playing with.

I know we're on the bottom, but surely we've got SOME pride left.

Not until they've had 3 warnings, been given the opportunity to steal thousands off the company and done a Johnson Tiles type run through with the AMWU delegates I hope?

Right on cue BV, nope got enough for an instant dismissal that would stand up in court, the written warning was delivered this morning, the look was priceless. Suspect they will take the hint and start to look eleswhere. They only reason they weren't gone this morning was that the CEO would not sign off on it. Even though I had recommended dismissal.

Back to topic. I fully understand people not wanting Campo back and in the 'real' world, you wouldn't but as we all know footy clubs are full of Prima Donnas and often it is larely about how you handle them

So what, Campo stays and then what.

We only use picks 1, 4 and 20 in the draft because we have not delisted enough.

No thanks.

Bowyer - Saddington
Clarke - Pick 1
Johnston - Pick 4
Norman - Pick 20
Morrell - Ohailpin
Campo - Pick 36 ??
????? - PSD Pick 1 ??????
