Remember that mark he took running forward with the flight of the ball?

Poetry in motion.

I've heard that Tiger Crosswell was meant to be a bit of a handfull in his day but we managed to get some good years out of him. It angers me how we couldn't get at least a few good seasons out of Laurie & Karl.
I wonder how far our playing leadership went to try and straighten out Laurie & Karl?

Did Croswell go around knocking stuff off from his own team mates?

Budzy, I reckon that if you had met Mother Theresa, all you would have seen was the dust on her shoes......

How about one P. Bosustow.
Played some fantastic footy. Had everything a la Motley yet threw it all away. That is much worse than Angwin and Norman who were just potentials nothing more. Probably shows more about how deperate we are than how good those boys might have been and in a succesful period (with a team choc full of stars) we would be much less concerned about potentials that fall short.

What happened with Bosustow? Did he just quit mid-career? Parkin was always rather cold towards him in the mid/late 90s whenever Carlton played over in the West and Bosustow was on radio. Always wondered exactly what went on.

Didnt Buzza quit due to his fathers illness and then put his hand thru a mirror seriously damaging some tendons and nerve endings?

Angwin could have been anything. Just an amazing raw talent.
