The disinterest in Kade Simpson's 300th in 2018 told me all I needed to know about this supporter base and milestones.

Hey, I flew all the way from Singapore to see that match!

The finish to that game should be replayed more often.

One final ride for this Navy Blue champion.

Thursday night will mark the final game of Sam Docherty’s career - someone who has given absolutely everything to his football club and community.

As Carlton as they come: we’ll miss you, Doc

I don't care if we lose by 100, we stay till the end and clap him off.

Were you at that game too Doc?
Good effort given it was pretty difficult to get out of Victoria with Dan's covid restrictions in place.
Maybe that had a lot to do with attendance. Me thinks so.

Awful weather put the crowd off too.

Would be surprised if there was many more than 20-25K people, and most were trying to find cover from the rain. Hence the low attendance.

The cheer was huge when Simmo kicked aa goal. That was us: Carlton supporters, and a few respectful Lions fans too: the ones next to me, BT's family.

Would be great to have a win to put a dint in the Hawks quest to make Finals.

That would give them (our) pick 8 and pick 10 at this years draft.
Enough to get Reid for 2 first rounders and outlay $1.5 M pa.

Nah that was Marc Murphy's 300th in 2021 when we got absolutely pantsed.

Simmo's was in 2018 when we won 2 games the whole season. We probably got pantsed too.

Ah, what great memories!

I just booked tickets to the game.
This is one I cannot miss. As someone said win, lose or draw I will stay to the end and clap him off.

This game now is all about how much respect these players have for 2 leaders of our club.
Are they all as one and how much are they willing to give for 2 such players?

You're right about Marc.
I think I'm right about Simmo, or that acid I dropped was wrong or right quantity, depending on how one sees things.
It was Covid year Simmo retired. Shortened season. Stuck up in QLD on purpose. Fun Year. Easy to check.....yep 2020.

Memories. Yep that was his last goal.

Looks like Mckay in for Evans out will be the only change.

May as well keep HOF in the backline rather than bring Lewis in.

I don’t understand why they rested Lemmey and Acres given there’s no vfl match this weekend.

Lemmey played for our VFL team . He was off injured with a hammy strain before half time . Wasn't serious , just precautionary .

Given Hawthorn have our first pick we need to keep on winning to get as high as we can get.

Similarly, Richmond and North need another win and St Kilda need to lose every match for the AFL to give us pick 3 for TDK.

That's the weird equation isn't it

I want us to keep winning so Hawthorn don't laugh all the way to the bank. But then winning makes the TDK pick worse. Is that pretty much it?
