Had more inside 50 but geez they were ugly inside 50s

Really didn't defend the ground well at all. Giants always looked dangerous on turnover, always.

The better side won, pretty impressive by the Giants actually

Carroll wasn't bad & O'Farrell did a couple of nice things. Cerra decent.

That's 2 weeks in a row we've been let down badly by the seniors though. Weiters has a bit to stew on over the bye, great player normally but flower me he had a dirty day today

Well, it is what it is. We deserve to be where we are, that’s the system.

We seem to have a handful of highly paid players, if they don’t fire we don’t.

We have a handful of youngsters that show promise

And in between, well… it’s frustrating.

It’s all frustrating.

And then there is our system …..phew

I’ve been 6 weeks in plaster (another 6weeks go), and this is my lot watching this mediocrity.

Diabolical performance.

The goals we conceded ALL day was bush league levels.

Mares from senior players. Weiters has never played worse. TDK putrid. Charlie and Harry not far behind. They simply just don’t @#$%&! compete enough. It’s BS.

Season on the line and that’s what we dish up?

We are miles and miles from where we should be. So bloody depressing.

Same cycle of shit over and over and over again.

Diabotical Stuff !!

Went to the game, while not expecting a win it was still disappointing.
I couldn't believe how bad some of our senior players were today, Weitering in particular.
At least some of the young players are getting some games into them, not much else to look forward to.
While we got more frees the umpiring was pretty ordinary.
We were all scratching our heads in the last quarter I think it was. We had to the ball and the umpire stopped play because he thought another umpire had paid a free. None had so there was a ball up. Can't remember seeing that before.

I think that was when a GWS player hurt his shoulder and was in the middle of it.

The umpire stopped the play to protect him just as we took possession.

If that happens he should be made to leave the field.

@#$%&! cheats.

Voss is done. Line up the next coach and get him to review list, playing style and assistance ASAP.
Make the change at the end of the year. This was as a poor performance as any by our leadership group, including our coaches box.

To this point, whilst I haven't been a true Voss believer, I've restrained myself calling for his head. After today, I'm firmly in the move on camp. It's like they didn't know how GWS play the game and had no plan for it. GWS played the sling shot all day. All @#$%&! day. Our only response. Swap McGovern and Young around.

Voss is so committed to his game plan (that is past it's use by date by a decade) that there is no other way to play.

The recruitment is deplorable. We have a list of blokes that are slow and lack skill or polish.

Add to that, our superstars are dreadfully out of form and are playing selfish dumb football.

I seriously don't see a way out of it. I genuinely fear that our list is about to fall off the cliff into oblivion. It may already be happening

Just going by wireless, poor options, soft options, predictability. I kept score at the local club as they had a family day. Some great skillfull players playing local footy

There was another in the centre, can't recall which quarter but one umpire went to ball up & the other went for the free to us. They were both the same distance from play but on opposite sides.

The free to us got the nod so we'll take it, but it was weird. I thought in a situation like that they'd err on the side of the ball up

Mcgovern into attack I didn't mind, but he got plonked into the goalsquare where we didn't really need him :?

We needed him across half forward/wing where he could create & change angles with his kicking. We really missed that with Elijah out. We missed Williams too, & obviously Silvagni because the defence had a shocker today.

But overall we were soundly beaten & the Giants deserved the win. We've really had a shit 2 weeks.

There's a guy called Ang Postecoglou who claims to always win a trophy in his second season of coaching a new club.
I'm happy to wait till 2027

Need to try something with this smaller forward caper. Like we did with Williams, and even Cincotta the last time he was around, see if we can find a half back who might go well forward. Cincotta bot only did a good job as a defensive forward, he kicked some goals too. As Cripps gets older I'd have him forward more and more. Remember how well the like of Ricciuto, Brad Johnson, Barleett, Leigh Matthews and currently Dangerfield have good when put forward late in their careers. At Cripps' height he and ability to get over he'd be a tough match up. We need to throw things around. Look forward to watch Jagga Smith and Cooper Lord working together next year.

We played a VFL GWS Side with a one man show- Toby Greene and he Destroyed us on his own

It means we got beaten by what we know

Today, GWS's best bet to beat us was nullify contest, smash us on the turnover knowing we would bomb it in, and a bit of Toby Greene star power.

It's exactly what happened.

Our contested possession game is too all in.

Contested possession is low percentage and relies on extraction to good users of the ball. We don't have good ball users.

Boyd can kick. Carroll is decent. I don't think Saad is anywhere near as good as he's credited and he's easily shut down if boxed in on his left.

We have gone all in on bash and crash and have no mobility. We will smash some sides in contest but we can't match it with good F50 delivery.
