Voss was very happy to turn it into a dirty slog after all those injuries. He was happy forit so we had something left in the last qtr. He said if it stayed free scoring we wouldn't have won.

Pure grit got us over the line. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a pyrrhic victory with all the injuries and sore bodies.

Players looked out on their feet. H especially in the last. To find something and kick that goal. Wow. Full credit where it's due.

Charlie gave us his best and worst in one game. So frustrating. As I said in the match discussion thread, he is Fevola without the off field scandals. When he's on - he's unplayable. When he's off, he does a lot of dumb and lazy shit.

JSOS out bloody standing! I shook my head in pre season when I heard we were turning him into a defender. But, wow. What a season he's having.

Our smalls are horrific, Motlop popped up at the end with some nice touches but he shits me. Evans is a waste of space - nullified Milera!?! The leading possession getter? You're taking the piss Braithy!

And Ross Lyon, yes we made our @#$%&! bed. You should go to sleep, permanently, and disappear from the footy world. A blight on the game!

Had to turn off the tv during the last quarter.
While it was a very ordinary game to watch it was a gutsy win.
Really pleased for Harry, that was a great goal in the last quarter under enormous pressure.
Go blues.

A dirty, ugly, tight game of footy.
I'll take a very hard fought 15 point win thank you very much.

Also, an intense full throttle flower you to Ross Lyon - your bullshit boring lockdown gameplan has been rubbish for years and guess what IT STILL IS!!! Carlton absorbed your lockdown and your teams best full pressure efforts and beat you!!!!!

Massive, massive game from Harry McKay tonite. That goal he kicked with a bit over a minute or so to go was CLUTCH. Straight through the middle thank you very, very much.

Even more massive game against the Swans at the SCG next Friday. Go Blues!!
THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!

You can't see from TV - but was it George on Sinclair? Killed him.
@#$%&!, theyre fully pumped for the song hey

He was on Macrae, and stuffed him. Macrae had 25 contested possessions last week, 9 tonight. Sinclair was very good for them, wouldn't say we killed him.

After last week I'll take any win.

Ross made it a slugfest after half time but to our credit we outlasted them.

Reckon that was more our doing than theirs. Voss told ch7 crew we wanted to turn it into a rolling maul in Q3 to save enough energy to run out the game. Worked a treat as we had the legs in the last 5 minutes to ice the game. Good coaching. Horrid spectacle. But good coaching.

Highlight was seeing that St Kilda germ in the crowd giving it to Harry when he was lining up, then the camera flashed to him after, having to eat his own shit while his Carlton mate got stuck into him. Cop that you turd. Us the walking wounded & they managed 62 points against us

Awful game to watch & I nearly turned it off. But the Lord play to set up his own goal was super.

Definitely didn't seem to like us. We've been treated pretty well this season but tonight felt like the old days of persecution.

We got a stupid one given our way in the first half for deliberate I thought.

But across the game they got heaps more of the 50-50. The HTB against White in our backline in the last qtr was a shocker I thought. There wasn't much White could do about that at all

Somewhat ironic that Aints supporters try to put mentally fragile H off by booing him...on the night they call Spud's Game for mental health.

I think we need Young in the fwd line to take pressure off Curnow so we have two talls (Young and Harry) to compete in the air. Curnow isn't really an effective key position player, he is outmarked way too much. was worried when we moved Young to the backline that would enable the saints to lock down our forwards.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, why is it that crowds go after Harry so much?

Umpiring was horrible tonight, so many inexplicable decisions and non decisions I saw at the game.

No McGovern no Cowan but also credit to St Kilda for putting up such a good fight without Tom De Koning.
