Maybe Cottrell to the fwd line & a Campo to the wing?

Rather do this than move Ollie after the game he had yesterday.

A blow for club and player here, but Jack Silvagni has a break in his hand from the win over Geelong & that exchange with Dangerfield. Timeline from here remains unclear. Silvagni had found real form in that key defensive post the Blues had been crying out for. @1116sen

Bugger.

So for them, Hinge copped a week. And Fogarty & Thilthorpe are 50/50

Dangerfield should be reported for unsportsmanlike behaviour punching and breaking Silvagni's hand.

SOS running from the backline hitting up passes on the run is something Young can't do.

Cowan was the only defender to have a good game in the VFL. May not be in peak form yet but he is tough and uncompromising, and knows the defensive system.

Haynes and Gov can play on Fogarty and Walker, and Weitering takes Tilthorpe IF SOS doesnt get up for this game.

This is a tough one. We don't play very well in Adelaide and we don't play very well against Adelaide. And we're going to have to make some changes...

How did we play our last game in Adelaide? I thought we won by 12 goals, playing "our way".

Its a 50-50 game imo.

Crows mid mix of Dawson Soligo Peatling Rankine M Crouch.

Peatling often goes to the best opp mid while Rankine can cut any team up, especially at forward 50 stoppage.

Crows fans are deeply unhappy with their ruck O'Brien - hopefully TDK can dominate.

Don't get me wrong, I'm optimistic. The Crows were no good this weekend and are ripe for the picking. But for whatever reason they always prove a challneging match-up for us, and, yes, we might have won well three weeks ago, but our record at Adelaide Oval isn't exactly inspiring...

Not sure how the backline will shape up… though the options are slim if both SOS & Haynes are out.

I’m dead set that O’Farrell is up to the task - if the task is Haynes’ or McGovern’s role… Thilthorpe, Walker & Fogarty is probably a stretch.

Weitering, Young, Gov, Cowan, Carroll, Saad will be ok. A real litmus test for the young blokes.

F@#$ this really annoys me. That flower Dangerfield has once again walked away with 'nothing to see here' - yet it was a clear punch that broke his hand. Flower of an individual and the AFL have been turning a blind eye on his both on and off field for years now.

Dangerfield has blood on his hands.

How many Carlton players has he taken out and how many has he tried to maim?

A: Too many

If it's only a small fracture, any chance he plays with a glove on? I mean he played out the whole game and played well...

In addition to Sammy’s report, Silvagni will have surgery in the next day or two. Likely timeframe is 1-2 weeks out, dependent on the success of the procedure.

Not the end of the world. Young to come in if Thilthorpe plays. If he's out maybe we get by with Weitering, Haynes and Gov

To be honest, Young is probably a better matchup. JSOS would be undersized against Thilthorpe or Walker

nah mate ... the risk of an 8 week break and rehab is too great. gotta let it heal. knew it at the time he'd broken it. you could see the knuckle was gone. common boxing injury.

hows silvagni is the 4th rated defender in the whole comp. weiters is #3. this one hurts us .
